Beloved of All
God sees the weight you are carrying and He hears your cry for help. When a situation feels too heavy to handle alone, His invitation is to come to Him honestly just as you have done.
Scripture makes a clear distinction about burdens. Jesus said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Every life is governed by some burden. The heavy burden that wears us down is often the burden of living to please ourselves, or of taking on expectations that God never placed on us, or carrying pressures that other people have put on us. That kind of burden becomes intolerable and robs us of rest. The burden Jesus gives is different. His burden is to do the will of the Father and to live to please God, and that way is light and satisfying and leads to rest.
For that reason God does not want you to think He has crushed you with a heavy load you cannot bear. If what you are carrying feels crushing and hopeless, it is not His yoke. His desire is to lift the weight, not to add to it. The Bible says to cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee, and to cast all your care upon Him for He careth for you. That is what you can do now, turn this whole situation over to Him and look to His power and goodness rather than staying focused only on the problem.
May the Lord step into your circumstances in His perfect way and timing. May He sustain you, quiet your heart with His peace, and give you wisdom to walk in His will. As you commit your life and this need fully to Him, may you find that living for His glory brings the rest and confidence that you cannot find on your own.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this dear one before You. You know the details of this difficult situation and the heaviness it has caused. I ask that You intervene according to Your perfect will, that You would lift this burden and carry it Yourself, and that You would provide the solution that is best. Give rest to the weary heart, sustain daily, and help to trust You more fully and to live to please You. Let Your peace guard heart and mind and let Your will be done. Amen.
