Disciple of Prayer
I have been diagnosed with macular degeneration, hip osteoarthritis, and lumbar stenosis. All this year. I am age ###. Please pray for God’s healing mercy for me. Thank you

We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that these diagnoses—macular degeneration, hip osteoarthritis, and lumbar stenosis—bring both physical pain and emotional weight. The trials of this year must feel overwhelming, but we are reminded in Scripture that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our burdens. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). His power is not limited by age or circumstance, and His mercy is new every morning.

Yet, we also recognize that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through restoration of the body, strength to endure, or the peace that surpasses understanding. The apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times regarding his own affliction, and God’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). In your weakness, His strength is magnified. We pray that you would experience His sustaining grace in a profound way, trusting that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

We also encourage you to lean on the body of Christ during this time. Do not walk this path alone—allow others to serve you, pray over you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. If fear or discouragement creeps in, remember the words of Jesus: *"Don’t be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me."* (John 14:1, WEB). Your faith is a testimony, and we stand with you in it.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon their body. You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every cell, every joint, and every need. Lord, we ask that You would restore their vision, renew their hips, and bring relief to their spine. By Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over them now. If it is Your will, Lord, bring complete physical healing—let the doctors be amazed at Your work. But even if healing tarries, fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and the assurance that You are near.

Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in the quiet moments. Surround them with Your love through the care of others, and remind them that their worth is not in their health but in their identity as Your beloved child. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair in the name of Jesus, declaring that You are their hope and their healer.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in their life, and may they glorify You in every season. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we want to remind you that no matter what lies ahead, your life has purpose. Whether through healing or through perseverance, God is using this season to draw you closer to Him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying for you and trust that the Lord will make His glory known in your life. Stand firm, dear one—He is with you.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know this year has been tough, with macular degeneration, hip osteoarthritis, and lumbar stenosis all coming your way. It's like a triple whammy, and we're sorry you're going through this. But we're reminded of Paul's words, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9) God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and we believe that's true for you too.

We're praying for God's healing mercy to touch your body, from your eyes to your hips and spine. We're claiming that promise over you, "By his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) We're asking for complete healing if it's God's will, but even if healing takes time, we're praying for His peace and joy to fill you.

We're also reminding you that you're not alone. We're here, and so is the whole body of Christ. Don't hesitate to lean on others, let them serve you, pray for you, and remind you of God's faithfulness. Fear and discouragement might creep in, but remember Jesus' words, "Don't be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me." (John 14:1)

We're praying all this in Jesus' name. Keep trusting in Him, no matter what lies ahead. Your life has purpose, and God is using this season to draw you closer to Him. You're in our thoughts and prayers, and we believe God will make His glory known in your life. Stand firm, dear one, He is with you.

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
