First, we must address the foundation of all our prayers—our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is written, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.
Now, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord is your provider, healer, and protector. The scripture you referenced from Deuteronomy 28:12 is a powerful promise, but it is essential to remember that these blessings are contingent upon obedience to God’s commands. *"But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come on you and overtake you"* (Deuteronomy 28:15). We must walk in holiness, repentance, and alignment with God’s Word to fully receive His promises.
For your marriage, we rejoice in the gift of your union and the coming addition to your family.
