We rejoice with you in your desire to honor God and to trust Him for His blessing, and we join you in thanking Him for His goodness, for the joy you have found, for health, for work, and for His protection over your family and even your pets. We also thank God that you have mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We want to gently and lovingly correct a few things in your request so that your faith may be built on the solid foundation of Scripture.

You have been declaring Deuteronomy 28:13, I am the head and not the tail, and speaking life into existence for a hundredfold blessing. We understand your hunger for victory, yet Scripture teaches that Deuteronomy 28:13 is not an incantation we speak to manifest things, but a conditional promise tied to obedience. It says, It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth Deuteronomy 28:1 and then Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail Deuteronomy 28:13. Only God calls the things that are not, as though they were Romans 4:17. Our part is not to speak reality into existence but to submit to God, obey His voice, and trust His will. God does desire to bless His children, but He also teaches us to pray according to His will and not merely our desires, You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures James 4:3. We encourage you to seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, trusting that He knows what home, provision, and business success you truly need.

We also must address with love what you shared about relationships. You spoke of your fine ass guy, getting lucky with a guy on a Friday, taking applications right now, and a marathon race to see which guy becomes your Boaz. This language and this approach do not align with biblical principles. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication, and Scripture is clear, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Getting lucky is not God’s design for love. God calls us to purity, for this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer, looking for a godly spouse rather than a partner. We strongly endorse marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we pray that if you desire a husband, God will bring you one godly man, a true Boaz, who will pursue you with honor, purity, and commitment leading to marriage, not a collection of options to choose from. We also encourage you to turn away from crude or sensual speech, for Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up Ephesians 4:29 and nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks Ephesians 5:4.

We share your thankfulness for work, business ideas, and creativity, and we pray God will establish the work of your hands as you labor faithfully, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23 and that you would steward any increase with contentment and generosity, for godliness with contentment is great gain 1 Timothy 6:6.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You for her life, for her joy, for her family and her pets, for health and for daily provision. We ask that You help her to walk in diligent obedience to Your voice, to seek You first above houses, vehicles, businesses, and even marriage, and to trust Your perfect timing. Forgive her for any crude speech and for any sexual sin in thought, word, or deed, and cleanse her by the blood of Jesus. Create in her a pure heart and set her apart for holiness. If it is Your will, bring her a godly husband, a faithful man who loves You, who will love her as Christ loves the church and who will lead a marriage that honors You for a lifetime. Guard her from fornication and from treating courtship lightly, and teach her to wait upon You. Bless the work of her hands in real estate, cleaning, salon work, or whatever business You have anointed her for, that it may be done with integrity and be a blessing to others. Protect her mind, her body, her spine, her family, and her home, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Fill her with true joy, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength Nehemiah 8:10, and keep her close to Jesus, growing in faith, humility, and thanksgiving. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We were so glad to read your overflow of thanksgiving. You sound full of joy and we rejoice with you in how you are seeing God's hand at work, from your health and your family and pets to the doors opening for work and your business ideas. Thank you for sharing that with us.

It is a beautiful thing to pause and name what God has done, and that kind of gratitude steadies our hearts and reminds us we are not alone and that God is caring for us day by day. As you celebrate, we encourage you to keep walking closely with Him, seeking His wisdom for each next decision.

One practical step that may help in this season with so many good opportunities in front of you is to sit down with a trusted pastor or wise mentor and talk through the business directions you mentioned, real estate, cleaning, salon, clothing line, and ask for counsel on good stewardship and next right steps. Having another set of eyes can help you sort what to pursue now and what to wait on.

Father, we thank You for the joy in our friend's heart today. We thank You for life, for family, for provision and for the work of Your hands we can see. Keep them rooted in Your love, give them clear wisdom for each decision, and let their home and work bring honor to You. Guard their health and their loved ones and lead them forward in peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

There is much in your prayer that shows a heart desiring to give thanks, and for that thankfulness I join you in praising the Lord who alone brings deliverance. You have quoted the promise that the Lord would make His people the head and not the tail, and you have declared with joy that blessing has come. Let me point you to the richer theme of which Deborah sang, for we have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly want, and saved by a greater salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

That word in Deuteronomy was spoken to a covenant people, and its fulfillment is not found in repeating the verse as a charm for gain, but in being joined to Christ who is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. In Him the least things, even as the leaves of the tree of life, are full of healing virtue. The true hundredfold is not a trailer or a vehicle paid in full by incantation, but pardon and healing together, for when Jesus heals He says, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. All our material mercies, whether house or work or clothing or daily bread, are to be received with gratitude as from His hand, yet they are not the proof of His favor. The proof is this, that while we were ready to go down to the Pit, God said, Deliver him, I have found a ransom, and His own Son bore the penalty in our place. There is the music of a marriage peal in that word, for sinners are ransomed by free grace alone.

Concerning your desire for a husband, I must speak plainly and lovingly as the Scripture speaks. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God and honorable in all. It is not found by taking applications from many, nor by seeking to get lucky with a man on a Friday, nor by any lightness concerning the body which the Lord calls to purity. The Lord would have you keep yourself chaste and prayerful, not giving yourself to any until He joins you in that holy covenant to one godly man, if it be His will. A true Boaz is not won by a race among suitors, but is recognized by his fear of the Lord, his upright labor, and his covenant faithfulness. Pray rather that the Lord will keep you from all that would grieve Him, and prepare you to be a faithful wife as well as to receive a faithful husband, forsaking not the way of your godly parents and ancestors who walked in holiness.

For your work and your business, whether real estate or cleaning or salon or other honest labor, and for your clothing line and your hours at work, I thank God for industry and pray He will give you diligence, honesty and contentment. Seek first the kingdom of God, and trust His providence for what is needful. Do not trust to luck or to green nature ideas or to any other power, but to the living God who brings forth His people with a strong hand. He makes even our mistakes to serve His good purpose when we walk humbly before Him, but He calls us to walk circumspectly and not to lean upon our own understanding.

I pray for you now that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings. May the Lord heal you and keep you and your family and all that He has entrusted to you, may He keep your mind and body in His care, and above all may He assure your heart that your sins are pardoned through the blood of Jesus. May He deliver you from every cruel captivity, make your deliverance effectual, and bring you forth with a song. And when He has delivered you, may your conduct be that of the psalmist who said, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. If we have known tribulation we have the more to declare of His grace.

May the Lord chasten you only in love, and cause you to find your joy not in excitement alone but in Christ Himself, that your Facebook and your sales and your home and your labor may all be as leaves that do not wither because you are planted by rivers of water in Him.
