We join with you in prayer and we hear your heart's desire for a good career that you enjoy, for provision for yourself and your family and your pets, for peace regarding your future, and for confidence in how God made you. We thank you for invoking the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved.
We want to gently encourage you regarding Deuteronomy 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. In context this was a promise to Israel conditioned on obedience to God's covenant, and while the principle remains that God honors obedience and delights to bless His children, His blessing is not activated by repeating a verse or by speaking a job into existence as if the words themselves have power. We are not to use Scripture as an incantation to loosen things in the clouds, but to submit to God's sovereign will with faith and humility. As it is written, You ask, and donāt receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures in James 4:3, and also A manās heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps in Proverbs 16:9. So we pray not that our will be forced, but that God's perfect will be done, and we trust His wisdom above our own desires.
We also hear your desire to be a classy lady, to feel beautiful and confident, to have gorgeous hair and flawless skin and to be seen as valuable and not as a dog. We want to affirm that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14 and that your worth is not in outward appearance or being on television, though God may open a door for that if it is His will. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised in Proverbs 31:30. And Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God in 1 Peter 3:3-4. We pray you will grow in that inner beauty and confidence in Christ.
Regarding your desire for a wonderful career as a traffic reporter in a helicopter, using a microphone and monitoring traffic, making excellent money without hurting anyone and without worry, we understand the longing for meaningful work that fits how God has gifted you. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men in Colossians 3:23. We pray for open doors if this is the Lord's best for you, and also for willingness to be prepared and equipped as He leads. Sometimes God provides a job immediately and sometimes He calls us to training or further schooling to be faithful stewards of the gifts He has given. We encourage you not to despise preparation, for God equips those He calls.
We also hear your repeated phrase no worries and your mention of monsters in the clouds and traffic control. God does not want you to live in anxiety. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. Seek first Godās Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33, and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and thank You that she desires to work and to provide for her family and her pets and to use her voice and her gifts for good. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps and open the right doors for employment according to Your will. If it is Your will for her to work as a traffic reporter or in broadcasting, we pray You would make that path clear, grant her favor with employers, and give her skill, clarity, and accuracy in her work. If You have another good career fitted just for her, we pray You would reveal it and give her peace to follow it. Provide for her needs abundantly, Lord, and help her to be appreciated and to do her work with excellence and integrity without harming others. Remove worry and fear from her heart and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help her to see herself as You see her, beautiful, valued, and created with purpose, a classy daughter of the King, clothed in dignity and strength. Guard her from spiritual confusion and from trying to control the future with words, and teach her to rest in Your sovereign goodness and timing. Give her diligence to prepare and to grow, and whether that includes more schooling or on the job training, give her a willing heart. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to walk in obedience, to be diligent and faithful in small things, and to trust Him with the desires of your heart. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart in Psalm 37:4 as you delight in Him first. Keep trusting Him to provide the right career in His perfect time and way.
