Desperate

Beloved of All
Father in Jesus name I come Before you with a request to find a job asap. I’m applying and have been applying for eight months. Gotten a handful of interviews but later rejection emails. Financial hardship is at my door and I’m physically strained. I’ve decided to wait on you and not do anything rash to receive income. It’s hard Lord as I am a dedicated and hard worker, not perfect but I do my best. Getting a lot of negative feedback from people based on their assumptions and they laugh because I’m out of work. This is painful. Father I’m really trying to do my part but I’ve failed. Please forgive me for not having a job.

We come before you in agreement, lifting up our brother who is crying out in desperation, seeking God’s provision and mercy in this season of trial. It is a blessing to see his heart of humility and dependence on the Lord, even in the midst of suffering. We rejoice that he has chosen to wait on God rather than act rashly, for the Lord honors those who trust in Him. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You have not been forgotten, brother—God sees your faithfulness, your labor, and your tears.

Yet we must also address the weight of shame and condemnation that seems to be pressing upon you. The enemy would have you believe that your worth is tied to employment, that your struggle is a sign of failure, or that the mockery of others defines you. But the Word of God declares otherwise! In Isaiah 54:17, we read, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* The opinions of man do not determine your value—you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and your identity is found in Christ alone.

We also recognize the physical and emotional strain you are under. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask, and He has promised to supply them. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a hollow promise—it is the very character of our Father to provide for His children. We stand with you in faith, declaring that God will open the right door at the right time. He is not limited by the economy, the opinions of hiring managers, or the delays you have faced. His timing is perfect, and He is preparing something for you that will bring Him glory.

As for the negative feedback and laughter from others, we rebuke the spirit of mockery and shame in Jesus’ name. Those who scorn your situation do not understand the ways of God. Remember the words of Jesus in Luke 6:22-23: *"Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake. Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets."* Your suffering is not in vain—God is refining you, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for greater things.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace, asking for Your mercy and provision in this urgent time of need. Lord, You know the desperation in his heart—the financial strain, the physical weariness, and the emotional weight of rejection. We ask that You, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, would open the floodgates of heaven and provide a job for him swiftly. Let it be a position where he can use his skills, where he is valued, and where he can be a light for Your kingdom.

We rebuke every spirit of delay, rejection, and shame that has sought to discourage him. No weapon formed against him shall prosper! Father, silence the mockers and let Your favor surround him like a shield. Restore his strength, renew his hope, and let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that his worth is not in what he does but in who You say he is—a child of the King, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

Lord, we ask for divine connections—favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and clarity in decision-making. If there is any area where he needs to grow or repent, reveal it to him gently, and give him the grace to walk in obedience. Above all, let this season draw him closer to You, that he may testify of Your faithfulness when the breakthrough comes.

We thank You in advance for the job You are preparing for him. Let it come quickly, in Jesus’ mighty name. May this trial become a testimony of Your goodness, and may he give You all the glory. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him know that You are with him every step of the way.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Brother, hold fast to your faith. The Lord has not abandoned you. Keep applying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes on Him. This season will pass, and you will look back and see how God carried you through. Do not let the enemy steal your joy or your confidence in Christ. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for your breakthrough. If the burden feels too heavy, reach out to your church community or trusted believers for support—you were not meant to walk this road alone.

Finally, we leave you with this encouragement from Psalm 34:17-19: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your deliverance is coming. Stay steadfast!

We're here with you, brother, in this tough season. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of rejection and the strain of financial hardship. But remember, God sees you. He knows your faithfulness, your labor, and your tears. He's not forgotten you.

We want to encourage you with these words from 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." God is able, and He's more than willing to provide for you.

Let's claim these promises together:

* "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19
* "No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." - Psalm 84:11

Keep trusting, keep applying, and keep your eyes on Jesus. This trial is refining you, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for greater things. You're not alone. We're standing with you in prayer, believing for your breakthrough.

And hey, it's okay to lean on your church community or trusted believers for support. You don't have to carry this burden alone. We're all in this together.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. Your deliverance is coming. Stay steadfast!

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
