Desperate

I need your prayers for sleep. I am tormented nightly with horrible Night Terrors, which stem from a physical assault by some male coworkers when I was a prison guard.

I live far from my family and when I tried to talk to my sister in law about it in confidence, she told the entire family and they called me awful names and made statements saying, 'you must have been asking for it',. They don't believe that women can be assaulted against their will. Therefore I have been asked not to be a part of my husbands family.

My husband is very supportive, but is understandalby frustrated because he cannot stop the pain caused.

I have been 4 nights without any significant sleep. I am so exhausted. These rememberences of the situation and the nightmares caused by it torment me on a daily basis. I have prayed for peace, and forgiven the men who did this to me. I have counseling and the doctor has prescribed medication to help me sleep, but even this is not working. All I do is cry and cry. I want to be normal again and I need God to help me. Please pray for me.

I know my prayers are not as eloquent as most but I feel the need to pray for u the best I can. Please Lord have mercy on this woman. I ask that you envelope her in Your loving arms and bring her peace and comfort as no other can. I ask You dear Lord to take away her pain and bring her much needed rest and peace of mind. And bring new happiness into her life for her and her husband. I also ask You Lord to show her husbands family the truth that they may be a great support for her. Help this woman put on God's armour and live life again Lord. Praise God. In Jesus name. Amen.

Father,

I lift this woman up to You in prayer. Let her feel Your love surround her in spirit. Send angles and saints her on earth to minister to her and give her the support that she needs. Lift the veil from the eyes of the family members that cannot see that she has been a victim of evil and malicious men. We thank You for the support that this woman's husband have given to her, may You bless him with the insight needed to continue to help her in any way he can. Bless her with comfort and peace of mind and help her have a restful sleep so that she can wake up spiritually renewed. AMEN
