Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

if any of you would see my sister's bible you would think that it belonged to an 80 year old pastor and not a 51 year old mother of three sons. Teens through 21. Although it's about 10 years old, the leather is worn and the pages are marked with prayers and answers from our Lord. My sister has been married to a violent at times alcoholic for about 30 years. Recently about a year ago, her husband was diagnosed with a manic bipolar disorder. Within this year, he has been put in jail for striking her. While he was away from her she never stopped praying for him and their family to be whole; she always thought that the Lord would mend this situation. This is why her Bible looks the way it does. Through out her 16 year relationship with the Lord, she never doubted that Jesus would make the crooked places straight. While her husband was out of the house, she kept taking him to the doctors and always tried to get him to stop drinking; he's also has hepatitis C. During this year out of the house, they were trying to go to theapy, but he kept drinking and not taking his psych meds. July of this year on her 16 year old sons birthday, she received a card addressed to her husband which was intended to get to his new address, but mistakenly came to their home. It was from another woman; his ex-wife from the 70's. He started having an affair with her, after his mother gave him her phone number. Apparently, she started a friendship with this person about a year ago when my sister and her husband started having their serious marital issues. Well suffice to say, this has pushed my sister over the edge. her husband has come back, and for about a month got my sister to believe that he never had sex with this woman, and that because she lived 60 mikes away, they mainly spoke on the phone and met for coffee a few times. He also has since been diagnosed with impotence from the chronic drug and alcohol abuse and heart disease. She believed him, took him back, and a week or so after he got back in the house, this woman starts harrassing them on the phone. Calling three and for times a day leaving messages about their affair and how she was going to send my sister, the letters he wrote her about their relationship. My sister can not afford an attorney to divorse this man, and has believed that she can not financially take care of her children without him. He keeps trying to tell her that he is not wanting this other woman and wants to wor things out with my sister, but she has been throug so much hurt, She is in a deep depression and although she has never had a drinking problem, she has been violently drinking to knock herself out from this hopeless situation. She has stopped going to church, she is telling me that God doesn't love her, and if He did, why would He let her go through so much pain when He knows that she has loved him and depended on Him for so long; why take her this far to let her go now? I've been trying to let her see the demonic attack that is happening because she has always tried to keep her family in church, praying, and being the spiritual leader of the house. God is not doing this to her, but her faith is really almost at the end. Please help me pray that this depression is lifted, that her faith is restored, that the enemy be far from her and her family, that the Lord protect her, hear her cries for help, prtect her heart, mind and soul. I've been on my knees daily for her, and my prayers are more desperate by the day. Please agree and pray mighty prayers for us.

Thank you

Stop professing desperation with your mouth and begin declaring the blood of Jesus over your family members. The Bible says: the mouth of the upright will deliver them. Speak God's promises, bind the enemy while praying in the spirit and take back your territory in the Name of Jesus!

Let’s Pray….God I ask in Jesus’ name, “That You will daily, each and every day surround me and my family with Your protection and guidance and bless each of us with the wisdom to accept it (especially my sister). Deliver each of us for anything that is in our lives that is not of YOU. Whisper Your Words of encouragement, leadership, and wisdom into our ears. Bless us with strength and courage in sprite of what we may see, hear, or will have to go through. Open up the doors in our lives that need to be open. Close every door that needs to be closed. Bless each of us with the desires of our heart that is the will of God for our lives.

Surround us with true Men, Women, and Children of God who truly love and care about us to help and encourage us on our Christian journey. Give us the wisdom to always guard, protect, and respect our relationship with you Lord Jesus and the anointing You have placed upon our lives. May each of us always seek to please You in all we say, do, and think. And Lord Jesus all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
