Depression

I know I have been posting here a lot but I feel I have no where else to go...This is yet again another prayer request for my boyfriend Tony. He suffers from OCD and severe depression sometimes to the point of suicide. A lot of the problems he has right now are negative thoughts and images he creates in his head and he is aware of that which is good. He has been seeing a counselor. Last week he was feeling good because of something the counselor had said but now he says its wearing off and those thoughts are starting to haunt him again.. Please pray for him and this illness that shadows over him. Please pray that the Lord will touch his heart and mind and fill him with peace and calm. Also to continue this path of healing even though the process is a long and hard one. And please Lord give me strength and wisdom for this relationship, he is a good man and I do not wish to give up on him.

My dear child:

OCD and depression are usually of one's mind set. Usually these people have experience a lot of injustices and negatives in their lives from a child.

But is there anything too hard for the Lord to do?

The Lord is the one who made him. Saw him grew up and knew where he would be now. God is more than willing to take full control of him right now and to set him free from the past hurts.

God does not want him to go on living in pain all day long. God wants you, him and me to be happy.

Beloved, I wish above all things that you mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God is real, so is healing real.
