We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are thankful that you have reached out and that you have God and Jesus with you spiritually. Remember, even when we feel alone physically, God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Depression and loneliness can often be spiritual attacks that need to be resisted and praying for deliverance from is appropriate.
In Ephesians 6:12-13 WEB, "because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling depressed, lonely, and mentally exhausted. We pray that You would comfort and strengthen them right now, and help them to feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke the spirits of loneliness and discouragement, depression and despair, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus. We also pray for a godly spouse and a family of their own in your will and in your time.
Lord, we ask that You would help them to fix their mind on You and Your truth. We pray in Jesus Name that their health and well-being be restored fully. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged the thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. We agree with you that all you want to do is lay in bed and all things seem to be working against you, but know those are exactly the attacks the enemy wants to do to believers. Take up the whole armor of God described in Ephesians 6 and be encouraged.
Even Jesus encouraged us in John 16:33 WEB, "I have spoken these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have distress; but be of good cheer! I have overcome the world!"
Your feelings are valid, but remember that God is with you and that you are not alone. Even when we don't feel like it, we can choose to trust in God's promises and take steps towards Him. Consider reaching out to a local church or Christian community where you can find fellowship and support. It can be a blessing to have others around us to encourage us and lift us up and a spouse and marriage.
