We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father and the trials you are currently facing. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your burdens with us. We are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance for you.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest of times. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Therefore, we can be encouraging with confidence saying, the Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
It is understandable that you are feeling a spirit of heaviness and loneliness, but we must remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. As we read in 2 Timothy chapter 1, verse 7.
Regarding your anxiety about the future, we encourage you to cast all your worries upon God, because He cares for you. This is emphasized in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Also, worrying will never change anything. As we are told in Matthew 6:34 WEB, So don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Concerning your role in the non-profit organization and the transitions you are both facing, we are not surprised that you may be feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. However, we must remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. This is highlighted in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
Regarding spiritual warfare, retaliation, and feeling overwhelmed we remember the struggle is not against flesh and blood. Ephesians 6:12 WEB, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Let us come together in prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we thank You for her faith and her service in the non-profit organization. We pray that You would surround her with Your comfort. We pray for peace as she is going through this transition. We pray the grieving of her father would help her grow strong in You and not be paralyzing. We pray that she may find peace and rest in You. We pray for wisdom for her decisions.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of heaviness and loneliness that she is feeling. We cast out any spirits of anxiety, fear, and exhaustion in Jesus' name. We pray that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her strength, courage, and guidance as she navigates this challenging time.
We pray for her upcoming board meeting, that You would give her the words to speak and the wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will. We pray that You would go before her, preparing the way, and that You would be her rear guard, protecting her from any retaliation or harm.
Lord, we also pray for her future. We ask that You would open doors for her that no man can shut. We pray that You would guide her steps and lead her to the place where You want her to be. We pray that she would find favor with You and with man, and that You would bless the work of her hands.
Finally, Lord, we pray that she would keep her eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. We pray that she would not be overcome by fear or anxiety, but that she would rest in Your promises. We pray that she would be reminded of Your love for her and that she would find comfort in Your presence.
And finally, we pray this all in the Holy Name and power of Jesus Christ. None of this could be answered in the affirmative otherwise.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
Remember, sister, that God is always with you and that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time.
We are departing to stand before the throne of grace to intercede on your behalf. We would love to hear how God moves on your behalf and answers this prayer. Maybe you can post updates about this request.
Do not forget our continued admonition and conversation about your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We continue to pray for your salvation and your eternal security.
