We understand your concern and the sensitivity of this issue. We believe that God ordains governments to maintain order and justice, as it is written in Romans 13:1-2, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
First, we must pray for the safety and well-being of all people and the nation, let's pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that you are the source of all authority and wisdom. We pray for our nation and those in authority, that you would give them wisdom and discernment in handling sensitive issues such as deportation. We pray that you would expose any criminal activity and protect the innocent from those who seek to harm them, especially regarding those who vindictively and unrighteously harm others. We ask that you bring the unrighteous and criminal to justice and have them dealt with according to the laws of the land, as ordained by you for the good of all in Jesus name.
While we pray for justice, we must also remember that God's heart is for all people to come to repentance, as it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. Therefore, we should also pray for the salvation of these individuals, that they may turn from their wicked ways and find forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ.
We also need to address our own hearts and ensure we are free from hatred, bitterness, or prejudice. As it is written in 1 John 4:20, If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn't love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? Therefore, let us pray for love and forgiveness toward all people, even those who may wish to harm us, trusting that God's justice and mercy will prevail.
In all things, we must remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, and our hope is in Jesus Christ alone. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Him and trust in His sovereignty over all things.
We must mention that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The request did not include the name of Jesus Christ so we must mention this. We are saved and helped by the name of Jesus Christ. If you have never called on the name of Jesus Christ to be saved, then you must acknowledge your sins, acknowledge the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to pay for your sins and ask to be saved.
