We have asked God to guard you from that spirit of greed and to continue to bless your faithful and cheerful giving whether or not you see a financial uptick, knowing that He looks at the heart and not the amount, as we see in the example of the poor widow who gave out of her poverty in Mark 12:44 and in the truth that God loves a cheerful giver in 2 Cor 9:7.
