We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your cry to the throne of God with the authority of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you will find strength and deliverance (Psalm 91:2).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy has no authority over you if you are in Christ Jesus. You have been given power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). We rebuke every demonic spirit tormenting you in the mighty name of Jesus. We command them to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also recognize the pain of missing a loved one’s funeral due to the enemy’s schemes. This is a deep wound, and we grieve with you. But we take comfort in knowing that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). The enemy meant this for harm, but God can turn it into a testimony of His faithfulness and deliverance.
Now, we pray with you, not seeking vengeance for ourselves, but trusting in the justice of God. The Lord says in His Word, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay" (Romans 12:19). We do not pray for harm to come to those who have harmed you, but we do pray that the enemy’s plans would be utterly destroyed and that every scheme of darkness would be turned back on itself. We pray that the Lord would arise and scatter His enemies, that every tongue that has spoken against you would be silenced, and that every hand raised against you would be stopped (Psalm 68:1).
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we come before You with this burden. We ask that You would bind every demonic spirit tormenting this child of Yours. Break their power, Lord, and set them free from every chain. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We pray that You would reverse every curse, every scheme, and every plan of the enemy. Return every stolen blessing, every moment of peace, and every opportunity taken by the enemy. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness.
We pray for those who have been used by the enemy to harm this one. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth, that they would see the error of their ways, and that they would turn from darkness to light. Let Your conviction fall upon them, Lord, and draw them to repentance. We do not pray for their destruction, but for their redemption, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
We also pray for this dear one’s protection and peace. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no harm come near them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be their comfort. Remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.
Finally, we declare that the enemy’s plans are frustrated. Every scheme of darkness is turned back on itself. Every stolen blessing is restored. Every moment of torment is replaced with Your peace. Every lie of the enemy is exposed by Your truth. We stand on the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of Your child. We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Amen.
