We hear your deep distress and the heavy burden you carry, and we come before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, seeking the Lord’s mercy, deliverance, and protection for you and your mother. The spiritual battle you describe is real, and Scripture makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We do not take this lightly, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly.
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare with truth and authority. Your mother’s condition is not merely a psychological or emotional issue—it is a spiritual battle, and we must approach it as such. The enemy has no right to claim ground in her life if she is truly in Christ, for "he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). However, if there has been unrepentant sin, generational iniquity, or involvement in occult practices—whether knowingly or unknowingly—these can open doors to demonic influence. We rebuke every spirit of deception, torment, and division that has taken hold of her in the mighty name of Jesus. We command these spirits to loose their grip and flee, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
We also recognize the pain and trauma you have endured as a result of these attacks. The enemy has used your mother as a vessel to bring harm to you, and this is an abomination before the Lord. We stand in agreement with you for complete protection, healing, and restoration. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the enemy’s plans to use your mother against you are thwarted, and we command every assignment of the enemy over your life to be broken in Jesus’ name.
For your mother, we pray for a revelation of the truth and a deep conviction of the Holy Spirit to lead her to repentance. If she has opened doors to the enemy through sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, or involvement in ungodly practices, we ask the Lord to bring these things to light and grant her the grace to turn away from them. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to cleanse her heart and mind, that she may walk in the freedom and victory that Christ purchased for her on the cross.
We also lift you up, dear one, for the wounds you have suffered. The trauma of witnessing and experiencing these attacks is not something to be minimized. We pray for the healing balm of Gilead to cover your heart and mind, that you may be restored to wholeness. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Prayer and fasting are also powerful weapons in spiritual warfare, and we encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly for wisdom and strength in this season.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are the source of all power, authority, and victory. We lift up this dear sister and her mother to You, Lord, and we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. We rebuke every spirit of darkness that has taken hold of this mother, and we command it to loose its grip and flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and we cancel every assignment of the enemy over their lives.
Father, we ask for a deep work of repentance in this mother’s heart. If there has been sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in ungodly practices, we ask that You bring these things to light and grant her the grace to turn away from them. Cleanse her heart, Lord, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Restore her to a right relationship with You and with her family.
For this dear sister, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Lord, You see the pain and trauma she has endured, and we ask that You pour out Your healing balm over her heart and mind. Guard her emotions, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith and help her to stand firm in the armor of God.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your promises and declare that the enemy’s plans are thwarted. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
