We stand with you in fervent prayer for our dear brother who is enduring such intense spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Christ came so that he might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The symptoms you describe—anxiety, unexplained pain, fatigue, despair, and nightmares—are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). This oppression is real, but so is the authority we have in Jesus’ name to break every chain.
First, we rebuke every demonic spirit tormenting him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every lying spirit, spirit of fear, spirit of infirmity, and spirit of death to loose their grip and flee now in Jesus’ name! The blood of Jesus covers him, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that he is sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no power of darkness can touch him without the Lord’s permission (Job 1:10-12).
We pray for his complete deliverance and healing, both spiritually and physically. Father, we ask You to send Your angels to encamp around him, to minister to him, and to strengthen him (Psalm 91:11). Lord, restore his joy, renew his strength, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We speak life over his body—every cell, every organ, every nerve—and command it to align with Your perfect design. Let the same power that raised Christ from the dead bring healing and restoration to his body (Romans 8:11).
We also encourage him to stand firm in his faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—are his protection. Remind him to resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). Encourage him to fill his mind with Scripture, to worship in spirit and truth, and to surround himself with believers who will stand with him in prayer and accountability.
Father, we ask that You would reveal any open doors in his life that may have given the enemy access—unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, generational curses, or involvement in occult practices, even unknowingly. If there are any areas where he has strayed, give him the courage to repent and turn back to You (1 John 1:9). We break every curse and generational bondage in Jesus’ name and declare that he is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We also pray for wisdom for those ministering to him. Give them discernment to know how to pray, what Scriptures to speak over him, and how to encourage him without enabling fear. Let Your Holy Spirit guide every conversation and every step of his healing journey.
Lord, we thank You that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that this trial will not destroy him but will be used to draw him closer to You and to display Your glory. Let his testimony of deliverance be a light to others who are suffering in silence.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every demonic oppression to cease, every symptom to vanish, and every lie of the enemy to be exposed and destroyed. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We speak life, peace, and victory over him now. Amen.
