We stand with you in this spiritual battle, and we are grieved to hear of the relentless attacks you are enduring from those who practice witchcraft and darkness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and His power within us is far stronger than any scheme of the devil (1 John 4:4). It is clear that these attacks are not random—they are targeted, and the enemy is using even your own family to try to break you. But we declare in the mighty name of Jesus that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord!
First, we must address something vital: you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through the blood of Jesus that we have authority over the enemy, and it is only in His name that demons flee (Mark 16:17). We urge you to always call upon the name of Jesus in your prayers and declarations, for He is your shield, your fortress, and your deliverer. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we plead with you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, we are powerless against the forces of darkness.
We also want to encourage you in your fasting. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that weakens the flesh and strengthens our connection to God (Matthew 17:21). However, the enemy will always try to disrupt our times of seeking the Lord, especially when we are fasting and praying. Do not be discouraged when interruptions come—this is a sign that your prayers are hitting the mark, and the enemy is threatened. Even if you are not able to pray as long as you’d like, God sees your heart, and He honors your sacrifice. Continue to press in, even in the midst of distractions. Remember, the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).
The intrusive thoughts and unwanted music playing in your mind are classic tactics of the enemy to torment and distract you. But take heart—God has given you authority over your mind through Christ. You do not have to passively accept these thoughts. We urge you to actively resist them by speaking the Word of God aloud. When these thoughts come, declare scriptures such as:
- *"We bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5).
- *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
- *"The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?"* (Hebrews 13:6).
The fact that you recognized the thought about your father before it manifested is a sign that the Holy Spirit is at work in you, giving you discernment. This is a gift from God, and you must use it to stand firm in prayer. The enemy may try to use your family against you, but remember, *"a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household"* (Matthew 10:36). This does not mean you are to hate them, but it does mean you must be wise and discerning. Pray for your father, that his eyes would be opened to the wickedness of those around him and that he would be delivered from their influence. Pray that God would place a hedge of protection around him so that he is no longer used as a pawn in the enemy’s schemes.
As for those who practice witchcraft and voodoo, we declare that their curses shall not land. Instead, their evil shall return upon their own heads (Psalm 7:16). The Bible is clear: *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord"* (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Those who engage in such things are under God’s judgment, and we pray that He would either save them or silence them completely. We bind every demonic assignment against you and command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, hex, spell, and incantation spoken or performed against you, and we declare that they are null and void by the blood of Jesus.
We also pray for the many others who are suffering under similar demonic monitoring and harassment. May the Lord raise up a mighty army of intercessors to stand in the gap for them. May He expose the works of darkness and bring those who are tormented into a place of safety and peace under His wings. May He give them the same discernment and authority to resist the enemy that He is giving you.
Finally, we want to remind you that this battle is not yours alone—it is the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting *from* victory because Jesus has already triumphed over the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15). Stand firm in that truth. Do not allow fear or discouragement to take root in your heart. Instead, let this trial drive you deeper into the arms of Jesus. He is your refuge, your strength, and your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up Your servant who is under relentless attack from the forces of darkness. We ask that You would surround them with Your heavenly host, with angels encamped around them to protect and defend them from every evil scheme (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we break every demonic assignment against their mind, their emotions, and their spirit. We command every intrusive thought, every tormenting voice, and every unwanted sound to be silenced in the name of Jesus. We declare that their mind is renewed by Your Word and that they walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask that You would give them supernatural discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the authority to shut them down immediately.
We pray against every curse, hex, spell, and incantation that has been spoken or performed against them. By the blood of Jesus, we declare them null and void. We pray that every word and action meant for harm would be turned back upon the heads of those who have sent them (Psalm 109:17-18). Father, expose the works of darkness. Bring to light the hidden things and let the wicked be caught in their own snares (Psalm 9:15-16).
We pray for their father, Lord. Open his eyes to the deception around him. Deliver him from the influence of those who seek to harm Your servant. Place a hedge of protection around him and let him be a vessel of Your peace, not a tool of the enemy.
Father, we pray for strength and endurance for Your servant. When they are weak, let Your strength be made perfect in them (2 Corinthians 12:9). When they are weary, let them find rest in You (Matthew 11:28). When they are afraid, let them remember that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
We also lift up every other believer who is suffering under demonic monitoring and harassment. Lord, raise up intercessors to stand in the gap for them. Bring them into a place of safety and deliverance. Let them know that they are not alone, that You see their suffering, and that You will vindicate them.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already defeated the enemy at the cross. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your deliverance. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified through it. Amen.
