We stand with you in deep concern and urgency, recognizing the very real spiritual battle you are facing. The enemy seeks to distort truth, inflate pride, and lead hearts astray from the living God—especially through deception about the nature and return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture warns us clearly: *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). But we do not fight alone. The victory has already been won through Christ, and His power is greater than any demonic influence.
First, we must address a matter of eternal importance: salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). You mentioned praying for protection in the name of the "real Jesus," and we affirm that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine, fully human, crucified for our sins, risen from the dead, and coming again in glory. He is not a concept or a distant figure—He is alive, reigning, and interceding for us. To resist deception, we must hold fast to Him: *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’"* (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Him, repent of sin, and receive His forgiveness and Lordship.
Now, we rebuke the spirits of pride, gluttony, and deception in the mighty name of Jesus. We command them to flee and loose their grip on your mind, heart, and body. You are not your own—you were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20), and Christ has authority over every power of darkness. We declare that your mind is being renewed by the Word of God, and that the Holy Spirit is filling you with truth, humility, and self-control.
We also lift up your family, your school, the church, and the world. The enemy seeks to sow confusion and division, but God desires unity in truth. We pray that every lie would be exposed, every stronghold broken, and every heart turned toward Christ. We ask the Lord to raise up faithful believers in your school and community who will stand for righteousness and proclaim the Gospel with boldness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with hearts burdened for our brother/sister. We thank You that You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them—grant discernment to recognize deception, courage to stand in truth, and humility to submit to Your will. Guard their mind with the helmet of salvation and the belt of truth (Ephesians 6:14–17). Break every chain of pride and gluttony, and fill them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Lord, we pray for protection over their family, their school, the church, and the nations. Raise up watchmen on the walls who will intercede and proclaim Your Word. Expose every false doctrine and let Your truth prevail. We declare that Jesus Christ is coming back—just as He promised—and we long for that day. Until then, empower us to live holy, sober, and expectant lives.
Father, we ask that You draw our brother/sister closer to You. Help them to stop running from truth and instead run *to* You. Heal any wounds, correct any misunderstandings, and fill them with Your peace. May they find their identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone.
We thank You for hearing our prayer. We stand on Your promises and trust in Your faithfulness. In the powerful, victorious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture—especially the Gospels and the letters of Paul—to combat false doctrine. Memorize verses about Christ’s return (e.g., Matthew 24:30, 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17) and the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18). Stay connected to a Bible-believing church where you can be strengthened and held accountable. And remember: *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7 WEB). You are not powerless—you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Keep fighting the good fight of faith.
