We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this long and wearying battle, and we take your request for an end to this demonic harassment very seriously. We know how upsetting and exhausting it is to feel targeted for years, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are not without hope, for our Lord Jesus Christ has already won the victory over all the power of the enemy.
The Scripture tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we are also told to be sober and self-controlled, because your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, whom we are to withstand steadfast in our faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. We are given authority in Christ, for He said Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19, and we are reminded that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We encourage you to submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. This means drawing near to God daily through His Word, through prayer, through worship and through obedience. We encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. Fill your home and your mind with Scripture and with praise rather than fear, and do not give the enemy a foothold through unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, or any involvement with the occult, false spiritual practices, or media that glorifies darkness. If there are any open doors, we urge you to confess them to the Lord and turn from them, and to seek the help of mature, Bible believing pastors or elders who can pray with you in person and walk with you faithfully. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly tell you that it is only through His name that we have access to God and deliverance from the enemy. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confessing Him as Lord, that you are saved and brought under His protection and authority Romans 10:9. If you have not already done so, we urge you to place your full faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for deliverance, for apart from Him we can do nothing.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one who has endured years of demonic harassment. Lord, You see the pain, the upset, and the weariness, and You are near to those who are brokenhearted. We ask that You would bring this harassment to an end according to Your perfect will. We rebuke every evil spirit and every work of darkness that has targeted Your child, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Cover this precious soul with the blood of Jesus, surround them with Your holy angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill their mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, and guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help them to stand firm in faith, to walk in repentance and obedience, to be filled with Your Holy Spirit, and to know deeply that You are their refuge and strength. Grant them godly counsel, fellowship, and rest, and let them know the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
