We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual battle and heartache, lifting up your cries for deliverance and comfort. The enemy’s harassment is real, but we serve a God who is greater—One who has already triumphed over every power of darkness through the blood of Jesus Christ. Let us first address the most urgent matter: your spiritual warfare.
The Scriptures remind us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* And in Ephesians 6:12, we are told, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You do not have to endure this harassment any longer, for Christ has given you authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We command every demonic force assigned against you to be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over your life, mind, home, and every area where the enemy has sought to torment you. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone in this fight—He is with you, and His angels are encamped around you (Psalm 34:7).
Now, let us turn to the matter of the dog you love so dearly. We understand the deep bond you share with this precious creature, and we know the Lord cares about the things that matter to you. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 10:29, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will."* If God watches over even the smallest birds, how much more does He care for this dog you love? We pray that the Lord would surround this sweet animal with His protection, that he would be loved and cherished by his new owner, and that he would know no harm, hunger, or fear. We also lift up your heart’s desire to be reunited with him. While we do not know God’s perfect plan in this, we trust that He sees your love and longing. We ask that if it aligns with His will, the Lord would open a door for this dog to return to you in a way that brings glory to His name. Until then, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart (Philippians 4:7), knowing that God holds all things in His hands.
Finally, we must gently address something important: in your request, the name of Jesus was not invoked. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or find salvation and deliverance. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not already surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy and access to the throne of grace. If you have already accepted Christ, we encourage you to always pray in His name, for it is through Him that our prayers are heard.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Your child who has endured demonic harassment for far too long. Lord, we break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every stronghold that has sought to oppress this beloved one. We command all demonic forces to flee in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill this precious soul with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won on the cross.
Father, we also bring before You the sweet dog that this one loves so dearly. You are the Creator of all living things, and You care for each one. We ask that You would protect this animal, Lord, and place him in a home where he is loved, safe, and well-cared for. If it is Your will, we pray that You would reunite him with this one who loves him so much. But above all, let Your will be done, and let Your peace comfort this heart that longs for him.
Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers when we come to You in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would draw this one closer to You, filling them with Your love, Your strength, and Your joy. Let them know that You are their ever-present help, their shield, and their deliverer. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you need further prayer or counsel, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to stand with you in the name of our Lord.
