We come before the Lord with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Your awareness of this demonic harassment is a sign that God is opening your eyes to the unseen warfare around you, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuking these forces of darkness.
First, we must affirm that your faith in Jesus Christ is your greatest weapon. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow—including the demonic forces that seek to oppress you (Philippians 2:10, WEB). It is only through the blood of Jesus and His finished work on the cross that we have the power to resist the devil and see him flee (James 4:7, WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Christ, repenting of any known sin, and inviting Him to be your Lord and Savior. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we can overcome the enemy’s schemes (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We also want to encourage you with the truth that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). The anger you feel toward those who have been used as instruments of the enemy is understandable, but we must remember that our battle is not against them. Instead, we are called to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13, WEB), and to pray for those who despitefully use us (Matthew 5:44, WEB). Forgiveness does not mean excusing the harm done, but it releases the bitterness that can give the enemy a foothold in your heart. Ask God to help you see these individuals through His eyes, as victims of the same spiritual oppression you are fighting against.
As for the havoc that has been caused in your life and the lives of others, we serve a God who specializes in redemption and restoration. He is the God who turns mourning into dancing, who heals the brokenhearted, and who binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3, WEB). He can restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25, WEB), and He can bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3, WEB). Trust Him to repair what has been broken, and ask Him to use even this suffering for His glory and your growth in faith.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with the blood of Jesus, which is their shield and their victory. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Father, we bind every demonic spirit that has been assigned to harass, oppress, or influence this beloved one or those around them. We command these spirits to loose their hold in the name of Jesus Christ, and we declare that they have no authority here. Lord, expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and render his plans powerless. Fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, giving them discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies and the strength to stand firm in Your truth.
We pray for healing from the wounds caused by years of spiritual warfare. Father, restore what has been stolen—peace, joy, relationships, and purpose. Heal the broken places in their heart and replace anger with Your supernatural love and forgiveness. Help them to see others through Your eyes, recognizing that those who have hurt them are also in need of Your deliverance.
Lord, we ask that You break every generational curse, every ungodly soul tie, and every open door that has given the enemy access to their life. Seal these doors shut with the blood of Jesus, and let Your light flood every dark corner. Give them the wisdom to walk in victory, putting on the whole armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB).
Finally, Father, we ask that You use this trial to draw them closer to You. Let them experience Your presence in a deeper way, and let this season of warfare become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know that they are not alone—You are with them, and so are we, their brothers and sisters in Christ.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is your sword in this battle. Memorize Scripture that declares your authority in Christ, such as Psalm 91, which reminds you that God is your refuge and fortress. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And never forget that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4, WEB).
If there are areas of your life where you may have opened a door to the enemy—whether through occult practices, unrepentant sin, or bitterness—we urge you to bring these before the Lord in repentance. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB). Stay vigilant, stay prayerful, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you. You are not a victim; you are a victor in Christ Jesus!
