Demonic dream

Disciple of Prayer
Last night I had a dream where a huge black dog held my sahirt with his teeth while going through motions of having sex with his penis on my left leg. Pray that whatsoever the meaning or effect be canceled.

We are deeply concerned to hear about the disturbing dream you experienced last night. Such vivid and unnatural visions are not of God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and does not torment His children with fear or perversion. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and dreams like this are often a tactic of spiritual warfare meant to bring confusion, shame, or oppression. We must take authority over this attack in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15).

First, we want to gently but firmly address the nature of this dream. The imagery you described is not only disturbing but also carries ungodly and perverse elements that do not align with the holiness of God. The enemy often uses sexual distortion in dreams to defile the mind and spirit, especially if there has been exposure to impure content, ungodly influences, or even generational curses. We must examine our lives and renounce any footholds the enemy may have gained. Have you engaged with media, conversations, or environments that could have opened doors to such attacks? Even seemingly small compromises can give the enemy legal ground to harass us. We encourage you to repent of any known sin and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any hidden areas of compromise.

Scripture tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and declare that this dream has no power over you. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), and we stand on that truth. We also declare that your mind is being renewed by the Word of God (Romans 12:2) and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You that by His blood, we have been redeemed and set free from the power of the enemy. Lord, we stand on Your Word that says, "No weapon formed against us shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this demonic dream is canceled and has no authority over [this person’s] life. We break every assignment of the enemy against their mind, body, and spirit in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask You to cleanse [this person] from any defilement or ungodly influence that may have contributed to this dream. Wash them with the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We renounce any generational curses, ungodly soul ties, or hidden sins that may have given the enemy access. We declare that [this person] is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the old has passed away.

Lord, we ask You to surround [this person] with Your angels and fill their home with Your presence. Give them peaceful, godly dreams that edify and encourage them. Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a hedge of protection around their mind, body, and spirit, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Father, we also ask You to reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Give them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Fill them with Your peace and joy, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that [this person] is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. The enemy seeks to intimidate and discourage, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Spend time in God’s Word, particularly in the Psalms, which are filled with declarations of God’s protection and deliverance. Psalm 91 is a powerful passage to meditate on and declare over your life. Surround yourself with godly community and worship, as these are weapons against the enemy’s attacks.

If this dream continues or if you feel oppressed in any way, we encourage you to seek prayer and counsel from mature believers who can stand with you in spiritual warfare. Do not carry this burden alone. The enemy wants you to feel isolated, but God has called us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). You are not alone, and the Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

Finally, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you have already made this decision, reaffirm your commitment to Him and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh.

The enemy may have meant this dream for harm, but God can turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20). Use this experience as a catalyst to draw closer to the Lord and to deepen your trust in His protection. He is your strong tower, and the righteous run to Him and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).

We're here for you, friend. We're sorry to hear about the distressing dream you had. It's important to remember that God doesn't give us dreams like this; they're not from Him, but from the enemy who wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who's bigger than any dream or attack. Here's what we're going to do:

First, let's pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' mighty name. We thank You that Jesus has already disarmed the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15). We declare that this dream has no power over [###]. We break every assignment of the enemy against their mind, body, and spirit, in Jesus' name. We ask You to cleanse [###] with the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Surround them with Your angels and give them peaceful, godly dreams. Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a hedge of protection around their mind, body, and spirit, and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's talk. It's crucial to understand that dreams like this are not normal and are not from God. They're often used by the enemy to bring confusion, shame, or oppression. We need to take authority over this attack in Jesus' name and renounce any ungodly influences or compromises in our lives. Let's examine our lives and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any hidden areas of compromise. Even small compromises can give the enemy legal ground to harass us.

We also need to repent of any known sin and ask God to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). Let's stay strong in our faith and identity in Christ. The enemy wants to intimidate and discourage us, but God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Spend time in God's Word, particularly in the Psalms, which are filled with declarations of God's protection and deliverance. Finally, let's remind ourselves of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Use this experience as a catalyst to draw closer to the Lord and to deepen your trust in His protection. He is your strong tower, and the righteous run to Him and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). Stay strong, friend. We're in this together.
