We come before the Lord with you in this spiritual battle, standing firm on the truth that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and His power within us is far stronger than any force of darkness.
First, we must emphasize that your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is your greatest weapon. It is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy, for Scripture declares, “Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth” (Philippians 2:9-10). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Christ, repenting of any sin that may give the enemy a foothold. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and walking in holiness closes doors to demonic influence.
The enemy often uses fear, deception, and even animals or loved ones to torment God’s people, but we must remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). Your pets are under God’s care just as you are, and we will lift them up in prayer, asking the Lord to surround them with His protection. The psalmist declares, “The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them” (Psalm 34:7). We claim this promise over you, your pets, and everyone in your life, asking the Lord to station His angels as a guard around you all.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Speak Scripture aloud in your home, declaring God’s sovereignty and rebuking the enemy in Jesus’ name. The Word of God is a sword that cuts through darkness, and praise is a weapon that confuses the enemy. Fill your home with worship and the reading of Scripture, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under attack from the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You rebuke every demonic spirit assigned against them, commanding these enemies to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask You to expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy in their life.
Father, we pray for divine protection over their pets and every person connected to them. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no harm come near. We break every curse, every hex, and every assignment of fear or torment in Jesus’ name. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your light drive out every shadow of darkness.
We also ask that You reveal to them any areas of their life that need surrender or repentance. Strengthen them to walk in holiness and obedience, closing every door to the enemy. Let them experience the fullness of Your love and power, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we thank You that You are faithful, and You will not allow Your child to be tempted beyond what they can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). We declare victory over this season of attack, and we ask that You restore every area of their life that the enemy has tried to steal or destroy. Let them testify of Your deliverance and goodness, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is fighting for you even now. If you feel led, we encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church or mature believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. You are not alone in this battle—we are with you, and most importantly, the Lord Almighty is your defender.
