We are truly saddened to hear about the demon affliction that has been plaguing you since 1996 and 1997. Firstly, it is crucial to understand that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
Let us remember to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB For Jesus Himself has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will by any means harm you. Luke 10:19.
It is important to remember that neither does God give us the spirit of fear. We have a spirit of love, of power and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7.
Rebuking the spirits:
We rebuke the demons causing this affliction.
In the name of Jesus Christ we command the demons to loose this person.
We rebuke the evil spirits in Jesus' name and command them to get out and stay out.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, demonic or otherwise.
We admonish you to resist the devil, steadfast in your faith and he will flee from you. James 4:7.
We also need to be reminded that the name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12.
Let us pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been afflicted by demons for far too long. We stand on your Word, which says, Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19 WEB. We command these demons to leave in Jesus' name, and we speak healing and restoration over his/her life. Strengthen his/her faith, Lord, and help him/her to walk in the freedom that Christ has secured for him/her. Let your peace reign, Father, and let your Holy Spirit guide him/her every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It would be encouraging to hear that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12.
