Prayer Focus~ Let Us Pray: God in Jesus’ name, “I lift up everyone I am concerned about, including myself and the writer of this prayer to YOU. God save all of those who stand in need of salvation, heal all of those who stand in need of healing, and deliver all of us from what we need to be delivered from. Answer all our prayers according to Your will for our lives. Bless each of us with what we stand in need of and bless us with everything that You God wants us to have. Surround us with your protection, leadership, and guidance. Bless us with strength and courage. Whisper Your Words of encouragement and wisdom into our ears. Let the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in our thoughts, rule in our dreams and conquer all our fears. Let the Word of God dwell within us richly so that our faith may enter a new height in You. Bless us with the favor of God, unquenchable joy, protection, excellent health, a long healthy life, but most importantly bless each of us to come to know, love, and walk in obedience to Your Word and will for our lives. Bless each of us with the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to live our lives to please You in whatever field You place us in. Let our love for You be shown to You and for You in our walk, talk, and the lifestyle that we live. God forever honor this prayer over all our lives. In Jesus’ name I pray. Romans 6:13-14 …13and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 12:2 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Sin is not a master over us that we need to be praying to God to set us free from sin. God has already set us free from the power of sin through Jesus. We are no longer under the Law, so sin has no power over us, unless we give sin power in our lives by trying to live by the Law. Praying to God to give us something He has already given us does not do any good. It also relieves you of any responsibility and places the blame on God for your not getting free from sin in your life.
The Word of God will renew your mind as you read the Word, abide by the Word and do what the Word says to do. Again, it is praying to God to renew our mind when He has already given us the tools to do it. It is "our" responsibility to renew our minds by getting the Word into our minds through reading, praise and worship, and spending time with God.

I stand in agreement with this request. Dear Father, may You also send more of Your Holy Spirit to all of us so that we may know and do Your will.
