We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this request for deliverance, protection, strength, and goodness over your family. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the throne of God, and it is in His name alone that we find salvation and authority over the powers of darkness. As it is written, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He is the only way to true deliverance and eternal life.
The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When we seek His face, He hears us and acts on our behalf. For deliverance, we stand on the promise that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). If there are areas of bondage in your life or your family’s—whether spiritual, emotional, or physical—we declare freedom in Jesus’ name, for *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB).
For protection, we claim the promise that *"He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). We pray that the blood of Jesus would cover your family, creating a hedge of protection around each member. May the Lord guard your coming and going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:8). We also pray for discernment, that you would recognize and avoid the snares of the enemy, for *"we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Put on the whole armor of God daily, standing firm in faith.
For strength, we remind you that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31, WEB). In your weakness, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lean not on your own understanding, but trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you afresh, empowering you to walk in obedience and victory.
For goodness upon your family, we declare that *"every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17, WEB). May the Lord pour out His favor upon your household, blessing you with unity, love, and a deep reverence for Him. Let your home be a place where God’s Word is honored, where forgiveness flows, and where each member seeks to serve one another in humility. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). We pray that your family would be rooted in Christ, growing in faith and bearing fruit that glorifies Him.
We also encourage you to examine your family’s walk with the Lord. Are there areas where sin has taken root—bitterness, unforgiveness, idolatry, or worldly influences? Repentance is the pathway to restoration. *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). Let this be a season where your family turns wholly to God, surrendering every area to His lordship.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your mighty hand of deliverance to break every chain of bondage—spiritual, emotional, or physical. Set them free from every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we bind every evil spirit assigned against them and command them to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over this family. Surround them with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your blood cover them as a shield. Give them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Let no harm come near their dwelling, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray for strength—strength to endure, strength to resist temptation, and strength to walk in obedience. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their minds and empowering them to live victoriously. When they are weak, be their strength. When they are weary, be their rest. Let them find their sufficiency in You alone.
Father, we ask for Your goodness to overflow in their lives. Bless them with unity, love, and joy. Let Your favor rest upon them, opening doors no man can shut and providing for their every need. May their home be a reflection of Your kingdom, where Your Word is honored and Your presence is welcomed. Raise up this family as a light in the darkness, that others may see their good works and glorify You.
We also pray, Lord, that if there is any sin or disobedience in their midst, You would convict them by Your Spirit. Lead them to repentance and restoration. Let this be a season of drawing closer to You, where every member of this family seeks Your face with all their heart.
Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through them. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
