We stand with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son and we thank you for bringing this request before the Lord.
We want to share the truth of Scripture concerning curses. For those who are in Christ, no curse has ultimate power over us because Jesus has already borne the curse for us. Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Isaiah 54:17 says No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants. We do not need to live in fear of curses spoken against us, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We rebuke any fear, any assignment of the enemy, and any lie that would try to hold you or your son in bondage, and we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that deliverance and salvation are found in Him alone. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, to confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for that is how we are saved and how our prayers are heard.
We lift up your son before the Lord for his physical health. We pray that he will be able to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God and strengthens his body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. We pray for wisdom, self control which is fruit of the Spirit, and for guidance for any doctors or counselors who help him, that he would develop healthy habits with food and activity, not through harsh or dangerous methods, but through steady stewardship and reliance on the Lord's strength.
We also pray for deep healing from past hurts for him. The Lord sees every wound and is close to the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We ask God to bring comfort, to heal memories, to restore what has been broken, and to help him forgive where needed and to receive the Father's love and peace that passes all understanding.
Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that through the cross all curses are broken and no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper. We pray that any curse, any evil word, any spiritual oppression spoken against this dear one and her son is rendered powerless now by the blood of Jesus, and we ask You to fill them with Your peace and protection. We pray for this son, that You would help him in his health, give him discipline and hope, guide him to safe and healthy ways to care for his body, and strengthen him each day. We pray for complete healing of his heart from past hurts, that You would bind up his wounds, renew his mind, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Draw both of them closer to Jesus, let them know the assurance of salvation through Him, and let Your joy and freedom reign in their home. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our deliverer and healer, amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone works deliverance with His own outstretched arm.
There is a curse that rests upon all who break the law of God, and from that curse no man can deliver himself. But blessed be His name, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. He was made sin for us who knew no sin, and in Him that curse is broken. We pray therefore that you and your son would stand in that finished redemption, that every curse spoken against you would be shown to be powerless at the foot of the cross, and that you would know the peace of those who are bought with a price and are no longer under condemnation.
For your son we pray also for the healing which comes from the same gracious hand. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing beneath His wings, to heal the hurts of the past and to make his nature new. When Jesus forgives sin, He heals the soul, for pardon and healing are one in Him. May the Lord bind up what has been wounded and cause him to forget the reproach of former sorrows.
We pray too for his body, that the Lord would grant him wisdom and strength to steward it well, to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, with temperance and health, and not through harm. May the Lord give him grace to live and to declare the works of the Lord, and to find his strength daily at the table of grace where Christ is ever fresh to the soul.
We leave you in the hands of Him who has found a ransom. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, I have found a ransom. Trust Him fully, for He who brought forth Israel with silver and gold will bring you forth also, and will not let you go down to the pit. May His free grace be your comfort and your song of deliverance.

May He remind you daily that deliverance is not found in words or rituals alone, but in careful hearing of His Word, in trusting His grace, and in walking faithfully with Him.
