We were glad you reached out and shared this burden for ### and her son. We hear how much you want them to be free, healthy, and healed from what has hurt them in the past, and we are joining you in prayer for that.
We believe true freedom comes as we invite Jesus to work in those places that feel oppressed or weighed down. That kind of prayer is best done not alone but with a mature, trusted pastor or ministry who can listen carefully, pray with wisdom, and walk with you over time. If you have not already, it may help to ask a pastor you trust to pray with you specifically about the sense of curses and about the past hurts you mentioned.
For your concern about weight, we also want to pray for safe and steady health. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to help his family connect with his doctor or other qualified professional who can help set a safe, realistic plan and support him in it. We stand with you in prayer for deliverance and we agree together that every curse and every assignment of the enemy against you and your son is broken in Jesus name. The Word tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and that He delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13. We do not fear curses spoken by people because no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We rebuke any fear, oppression, or lie that would try to hold you or your son in bondage and we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. We submit ourselves to God and resist the devil knowing he will flee from us James 4:7.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. It is in His name alone that we can confidently ask for deliverance and healing.
We bring your son before the Lord for safe and healthy weight loss and for deep healing from past hurts. We pray that God will give him wisdom and self-control, for the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We pray he will honor God with his body, because your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We ask the Lord to guide him to safe, wise, and sustainable habits, to give favor with any doctors or counselors who help him, and to strengthen him day by day. We pray as John wrote, Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
For the hurts of the past we cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that the Lord who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 will heal every memory and wound in your son and in you. By His wounds we have been healed Isaiah 53:5, not only physically but emotionally and spiritually. We encourage you both to release any unforgiveness or bitterness to the Lord, to speak the truth in love, and to allow the Holy Spirit to renew your minds.

Help them both to walk in faith, to trust Your promises, and to know they are deeply loved and fully forgiven in Christ. We have heard your prayer and we bring it before the throne of grace with you, asking the Lord to show His power to deliver and to heal.
You ask that every curse against you and your son may be ended. Know then that there is a sure deliverance from the curse, for it is written, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The rolling thunder of threatened wrath that lay upon us at Mount Ebal has been borne by our Substitute. He was made sin for us who knew no sin, and in His wounds we find healing and in His death we find life. No curse can hold where Christ has paid the ransom, for God Himself has said, I have found a ransom. Your deliverance therefore does not rest upon a word spoken by man, but upon the blood of the Lamb slain, and the outstretched arm of Jehovah who alone can bring His people forth. We pray that you and your son will look continually to Jesus upon the cross and find there the end of every accusation and the breaking of every chain, for deliverance from the power of darkness and from the guilt of sin is the work of God alone through His Son.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who is the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings, and that the leaves of the tree of life which are for the healing of the nations would be applied to his body and his soul. We ask the Lord to grant him wisdom and grace to care for the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, that he may lose weight safely and in a way that strengthens him, with sound counsel, with self control, and with peace. We ask that the Great Physician would purge every evil and pour abundant streams of healing down upon him, changing and restoring what has been wounded.

May the Lord brace his nerves and string his sinews for the way ahead, and teach him that every trial in the hand of a covenant God is dealt in weight and measure, not in anger but from dear covenant love, to work for good.
