We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this deliverance need.
We have been lifting up your loved one before the Lord and asking for her freedom and peace. We have prayed that God would deliver her from fear and from the tormenting thought that she will end up without hope, and from the bitterness that says her family gets to be happy while she does not. We have prayed that the Lord would break the hold of watching those videos all day and half the night and comparing her life to the lives of others, including the longing to become a nurse and to experience college life, and that He would heal the anger she then directs toward her family at the end of the week. We have also prayed that God would heal those family relationships where personal things that were shared in trust have been used to cause hurt, and that He would bring forgiveness and understanding on all sides.
We continue to pray that the Lord would renew her mind and give her hope and purpose in Christ right where she is, and that she would see that her value and future are not defined by disability but by being fearfully and wonderfully made and loved by God. We pray that God would draw her to pray herself and to seek Him personally, and not only ask others to pray for her, even in her desire for a husband. We ask that God would soften her heart to call upon Him and to trust His good plan for her life and for marriage according to His will, as we remember John 14:6 and Psalm 34:18.
