We join together with you in prayer for you and your son and we bring these burdens before our Father in Jesus' name.
We hear your heart crying out for deliverance and for every curse to be ended, and for your son to find healing and wholeness in his body and in his heart. We want to remind you of the power and authority that is ours in Christ. The Scripture tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We do not need to live in fear of curses, for God has given us not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. He has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13. So we stand on that truth with you and we rebuke every lie of the enemy, every assignment of darkness, every word spoken against you and your son, and we declare that they have no authority over those who are in Christ Jesus. We resist the devil and he must flee as we submit ourselves to God James 4:7.
We also lift up your son for safe and healthy weight loss and for healing from past hurts. We know that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in us, which we have from God, and we are to glorify God in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that God will give your son strength and self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:23, to steward his body well through wise and healthy choices, balanced nourishment, activity, and rest, and we encourage seeking godly and wise medical counsel as he pursues health. God delights in our well-being and we pray as John prayed, that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. More than physical health, we pray for deep inner healing. The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart, and saves those who are of a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and he heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that every past hurt, every wound of rejection, shame, or sorrow in your son's life would be touched by the healing hand of Jesus, who was wounded for our transgressions and by whose stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We pray that he will know he is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and that he can cast all his anxiety on Him, because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7.
We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by His name and His blood that every curse is broken and every prayer is heard, so we come boldly before God through Him alone.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this dear mother and her son. We thank You that You are our deliverer and our healer. We declare in Jesus' name that every curse, every chain, and every work of darkness against them is broken and ended now, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and ask for Your protection and peace to surround their home. Lord, we lift up this son to You. We ask for Your wisdom and grace upon him as he seeks to lose weight safely. Give him discipline, encouragement, and a sound mind to care for the body You gave him, and let his health be restored for Your glory. Heal his heart from every past hurt, wipe away every tear, renew his mind, and fill him with Your love and with the knowledge that he is Your beloved child. Let Your joy be his strength and let him walk in freedom and wholeness. We ask this all in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

There is a sure ground for your prayer for deliverance, for it is written that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The manner of our deliverance is by substitution, Christ in our place bearing our sins and the curse which came of it, and by His blood we are bought with a price and set free. We have therefore joined with you in seeking the Lord that every curse spoken or intended against you and your son would be shown to have no power against those who are in Christ Jesus, and that you would rest in the deliverance wrought out by the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
We have also prayed for your son according to the flesh, that the Lord who is the great Physician would grant him health and strength and wisdom for the care of his body. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing beneath His wings, and that the Lord would give him grace for safe and steady stewardship of his health, with sound counsel, self control and a sound mind, so that any loss of weight would be in a way that honours God and preserves his life and vigour.
For the hurts of the past, we look to Him of whom it is said the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His leaves, His words, His touches of mercy, change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. We pray that your son would know that abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, that past wounds and sorrows would be bound up by His hand, that memory would be purged of its bitterness, and that he would be made fresh and whole in spirit.
May the Lord graciously hear and answer according to His perfect will. We pray that He would bring you both forth with enrichment by His own hand and outstretched arm, as He brought Israel forth of old when the lamb was slain, and that you would live to declare the works of the Lord. We join you in prayer for deliverance and healing and bring these needs before the Lord.
We pray that any curse spoken against you and your son would have no hold, for Christ has borne the curse for us on the cross and triumphed over every power of darkness. In Him alone is our salvation and our protection. We ask that God would break every chain of fear, oppression and past hurt, and fill your home with His peace, truth and freedom. May you both walk in the confidence that no weapon formed against those who are in Christ will prosper, and that His love casts out fear.
We also lift up your son before the Father. We pray for his health in body and soul, that God would grant him strength to care for his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, wisdom to lose weight safely and steadily, and grace for healing from past hurts. We ask the Lord to heal memories and wounds, to comfort his heart, to renew his mind by Scripture, and to surround him with supportive and godly counsel, including wise medical guidance where needed. May he know how deeply he is loved by God and grow daily in wholeness and hope.

Your request has been lifted before the Lord and I join you in asking for His mercy and freedom for you and for your son.
In Scripture the curses you are concerned about are shown most clearly in Deuteronomy. From one mountain the blessings were spoken for those who would heed the voice of the Lord and keep His covenant, and from the other mountain the curses were spoken for disobedience. After each curse the people were to answer Amen, agreeing that the judgment was right. The list of curses is much longer than the list of blessings, and they are described as pursuing and overtaking those who turn away from obeying God. That shows how serious it is to walk away from Him, but it also points us to the hope we have in Christ. Jesus bore our infirmities and sicknesses, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirms, and He has redeemed those who trust in Him from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. So my prayer is not for a ritual to break a spell, but that you and your son would be found in Christ, forgiven and covered by His blood, and enabled by His Spirit to walk in obedience to His voice. Where there has been any opening to oppression, I pray the Lord would close it, that His authority which commands both sickness and evil spirits would bring release, and that you would know the peace of living under His care rather than under fear.
For your son I pray for safe and steady health in his body. The Lord heals in different ways. Sometimes He touches and healing is immediate, sometimes healing comes gradually step by step. The one gradual healing recorded in the Gospels reminds us that God is not bound to one pattern. He has also built healing processes into our bodies, and those natural processes are themselves from Him. I pray that God would give your son wisdom, discipline and help, including good counsel for nutrition and health, so that weight may come down in a safe and lasting way, and that his strength would be renewed without harm. I pray for patience in the process and for encouragement as he sees progress.
For healing from past hurts I pray that the Lord who heals the body would also heal the mind and the heart. He heals the wounds and scars that remain from what has happened before, bringing restoration to emotions and memories. I ask that God would gently uncover what needs to be healed, replace hurt with His comfort, and teach you both to bring those pains to Jesus who carried our griefs. May He guard your thoughts, give you His peace, and help you to forgive and to be renewed day by day.
May the Lord keep you close, help you to hear and follow His word, and fill your home with His presence and protection. I trust Him to do what is best in His way and His timing, and to make His healing and deliverance known in your lives.
