We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we thank you for bringing this request before the Lord with us.
We want to remind you of the power and authority that is found in Jesus Christ alone over every curse, every word spoken against you, and every scheme of the enemy. The Scripture tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. For those who are in Christ, no curse has the final word, for there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. We do not need to live in fear of curses, because if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31 and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every lingering effect of past hurts in the name of Jesus, and we declare that they are broken and ended now by the blood of Jesus. We encourage you to continue to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7, walking in faith, in the Word, and in prayer, not giving place to fear, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that the Lord will guide him and you to wise and godly choices for nutrition, activity, and rest, and that He will sustain him day by day, for we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us Philippians 4:13. We also pray for his heart, that God would heal every past hurt and wound, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. May the Lord comfort him with His perfect love that casts out fear and restore joy and peace.

We rebuke every curse spoken against this dear one and her son and we declare in Jesus’ name that every curse is broken and ended now, for Christ has redeemed us. We ask You to surround them with Your protection, fill their home with Your peace, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask for Your hand upon her son, Lord, guide him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You and strengthens his body which is Your temple. Give him discipline, encouragement, and health, and heal him from every past hurt, every memory of pain, rejection, or sorrow. Bind up his wounds and make him whole in You. Let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. We pray that both mother and son will grow strong in faith, rooted in Your Word, and walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus has already won for them. Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in seeking His mercy and power for deliverance and healing.
We are reminded that our deliverance from the curse is not by any charm or utterance of man, but by a redemptive work for us. As it is written, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. That is to say, in our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of it. If there be any burden of cursing or oppression spoken against you and your son, we pray that you may look to Him who was made sin for us, for there is life from sin by looking to Him, and that no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall prosper beyond what His sovereign hand permits. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and He has found a ransom, His own Son who bore the penalty that we might go free.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who is gracious would grant him healing in body and soul. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings, for when Jesus heals, pardon and healing are one. May the Lord give him wisdom and grace for his body, that he may lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, with temperance, strength, and sound counsel, and that his frame may be cared for as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
For past hurts, we pray the Lord would bring that deep healing which only His salvation can give. He can make us to forget the sorrow of the past and to not remember the reproach any more, for all past sin is blotted out and the future brightens into eternal glory for those who trust Him. May the Lord graciously lift him from any pit of discouragement or memory of wounding, and set his feet upon a rock, giving him to declare the works of the Lord and to live not unto himself but unto Him who delivered him.
We pray that you both may know this deliverance effectually, that He who brought forth His people of old with silver and gold would bring you forth enriched in faith, and that you may find your ransom is already found in Christ. Look to Him alone, trust His finished work, and rest in that free grace by which alone sinners are saved and healed.
