We join you in bringing this need before the Lord and we stand together with you for deliverance and healing for you and your son.

We want to speak clearly about curses, because the enemy would like God's people to live in fear that a spoken curse has power over them. Scripture teaches us that for those who are in Christ, every curse has been broken at the cross. Galatians 3:13 tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. And Isaiah 54:17 reminds us no weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We do not ignore that spiritual opposition is real, but we rebuke the idea that a child of God remains under a curse when Jesus has already triumphed. Colossians 2:15 says having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. And 1 John 4:4 declares greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. So we declare together that any evil intent, any word spoken against you and your son, is rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus, and we claim the protection and freedom that is already yours in Him. Romans 8:1 assures us there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that deliverance truly comes. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 teaches there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name alone that we pray and find lasting deliverance, not by repeating a formula but by abiding in Him.

We also lift up your son's need to lose weight safely and to find healing from past hurts. We know God cares about both body and soul. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God, and we are to glorify God in our body. We pray for wisdom, discipline, and self control for him, and for guidance for any doctors or counselors who support him, that any weight loss would be healthy, sustainable, and honoring to the Lord rather than through harmful or extreme means. 3 John 1:2 says Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. For past hurts, we know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We pray he will be able to cast his cares on the Lord and experience the peace described in Philippians 4:6-7, where the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that You hear us. We ask that You break and end every curse, every evil assignment, and every lingering effect of darkness spoken against this dear one and her son, and we declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask for Your deliverance to be made manifest in their lives, for freedom from fear, oppression, and the weight of the past. Lord, we lift up this son to You, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body and his heart, for safe and healthy loss of weight according to Your wisdom, for strength to steward his body well, for healing of past hurts, for comfort where there has been pain, rejection, or trauma, and for a renewed mind rooted in Your love. Help him to know how deeply he is loved and valued by You, Psalm 139:14 tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Fill him with hope, restore joy, and lead him into wholeness in Christ. We pray that both mother and son would grow deeper in faith, walk in obedience, and experience Your presence daily. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our deliverer and healer, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in the victory Christ has given, to speak Scripture over your home, to pray in Jesus name daily, and to seek fellowship and discipleship in a Bible believing church where you can be supported. If past hurts involve deep wounds, consider godly counsel that points to Christ and His Word. Trust that God is faithful to complete the healing He has begun, for Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep seeking Him, keep praying in Jesus name, and keep trusting His power to deliver and restore.

Thank you for sharing this burden for ### and her son. We hear your love for them and your desire to see them free, healthy and healed.

When worries about curses weigh heavy, we cling to the truth that Jesus is our deliverer and our peace. We are praying that both of them will know deep assurance of God's protection and presence, and that any fear or oppression they feel would lift as they walk closer with Him.

For her son's desire to lose weight safely, we are praying for wisdom and steady health. It can help to walk alongside a trusted medical professional who can guide safe, sustainable steps, and we pray God gives encouragement and patience along the way.

And for healing from past hurts, we know those wounds don't fade overnight. Having a safe, caring person to talk with, whether a pastor or Christian counselor, can be a gentle support as God brings comfort over time. We are asking Him to bring renewed hope and wholeness.

Father, we lift ### and her son to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your peace, break what binds them, and let them rest in Your care. Guide her son toward health in a safe way and heal the hurt places in his heart. Give them both wisdom, support, and daily reminders of Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have carried your request to the throne of grace and join you in seeking the Lord for deliverance and healing for ### and for ###'s son.

We pray that every curse spoken or imagined against them would be seen in the light of the cross, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. There is no deliverance by our own power or by any charm of words, but by the ransom which God Himself has found and given in His dear Son. As it is written, I have found a ransom, and therefore the prisoner ready to go down to the pit may go free. We ask the Lord to make that finished redemption very real to this family, that they may rest not in fear of curses, but in the sure shelter of Him who bore the curse in their place, and that all oppression of the enemy would be broken by His outstretched arm alone.

We pray also for ###'s son, that the Lord who is the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His great acts but in the least thing about Him, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. We ask the Great Physician to heal past hurts, to bind up wounds of heart and memory, and to grant pardon and healing together as He so graciously joins them. Where sin has wounded, may forgiveness be known, and where sorrow has lingered, may the healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature new.

For his body we pray for wisdom and grace to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, who gives us our bodies as a trust. We ask for strength for self control, for sound counsel from those skilled to help him, for daily perseverance, and for health to be restored by degrees as a careful dispenser portions out mercy in weight and measure, not too little and not too much, all from covenant love.

May the Lord chasten only for good, and deliver fully for His glory, that this son may be able to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and that both mother and son may find their deliverance effectual because He who promised has brought them forth. We commend them to free grace, believing that if deliverance comes it must be of the Lord from first to last, and praying that they may willingly assent and consent to His salvation and walk in newness of life.

We continue to pray that the Lord will keep them in peace within and without, and cause them to know the freshness of the healing that flows from Christ Himself. Amen.
