We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we stand together against any fear of curses in the mighty name of Jesus.
We want to remind you of the truth of Scripture that for those who are in Christ, no curse has ultimate power over you. The enemy may try to oppress and accuse, but Christ has already won the victory. Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. And Isaiah 54:17 declares no weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We do not need to live in fear of spoken curses or spiritual attacks, because 1 John 4:4 tells us greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, and Romans 8:31 assures us if God is for us, who can be against us. So we rebuke any assignment of darkness, any word spoken against you and your son, and we declare it broken and powerless through the blood of Jesus. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but we trust in the authority Christ has given us to stand firm in faith.
We also lift up your son before the Lord for his physical and emotional health. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss according to wisdom and self control, honoring God with his body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in us, whom we have from God, and we are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are his. We pray that God will give him strength, discipline, and guidance to make wise choices, to be nourished well, and to find balance and stewardship rather than harmful or extreme measures. 3 John 1:2 shows God's heart that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. May the Lord guide him to good counsel, healthy habits, and perseverance.
For healing from past hurts, we know God is close to the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 says he heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Jeremiah 30:17 says I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Past hurts, rejection, disappointment, and pain can leave deep marks, but the Lord is our comforter and restorer. We pray He will replace hurt with His peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:7, and bring wholeness to his mind, heart, and memories.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently and lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that every prayer is answered. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name alone that curses are broken and healing comes.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that You hear us. We lift up this dear parent and their beloved son to You. In the name of Jesus, we break, rebuke, and renounce every curse, every negative word, every spiritual attack that has been spoken or directed against them, and we declare it ended now by the power of the blood of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be shown to be in the wrong. Fill their home with Your light, Your protection, and Your peace.
Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon this son. Lead him into safe and healthy ways to care for his body, give him wisdom, self control, and strength for each day, and help him to honor You in his physical health. Heal his heart from all past hurts, wipe away every wound, restore joy where there has been sorrow, and renew his mind with Your truth and love. Let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You.
We ask all of this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our deliverer and healer, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in faith, to speak Scripture over your son daily, to seek godly counsel for health needs, and to rest in the assurance that God is for you and with you always.
