Deliverance

We have heard your cry for freedom and deliverance and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's mighty hand to break every chain that has held you in this long spiritual battle.

We want you to know that this battle is real, and Scripture tells us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we do not fight in our own strength, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. We take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and delivered. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by the authority and the blood of Jesus that we can resist the enemy and find true freedom, for we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Romans 8:37.

We encourage you to submit yourself fully to God, to resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7, to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, to remain in prayer and in the Word daily, to confess any known sin and turn from it, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9, and to seek fellowship with strong believers who can walk with you and pray with you continually. Fasting and persistent prayer are also powerful as you seek deliverance.

We pray together now for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who has been weary from a long spiritual battle. Lord, You see the struggle, You know every attack and every burden, and we ask for Your deliverance and freedom to come now. We rebuke every work of the enemy that has oppressed and tormented, and we ask that by the power of the blood of Jesus, every chain be broken and every stronghold be torn down. Fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, strengthen faith where there has been weariness, and let Your Holy Spirit bring comfort, courage, and victory. Help this dear one to stand firm in the armor of God, to walk in repentance and holiness, and to know with assurance that whom You set free is free indeed. We ask that You restore joy, renew strength, and lead into complete freedom and wholeness according to Your will. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep calling upon the name of Jesus, for He is faithful to deliver. Continue to seek Him with your whole heart, remain in His Word, and trust that He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6.

We hear how wearying this long battle has been for you, and we are grateful you reached out and let us pray with you. Carrying a spiritual struggle for a long time can leave you feeling isolated and worn down, and you do not have to keep carrying it alone.

One thing we have seen help others in a prolonged season like this is to shift from looking only for a single breakthrough moment to also building steady, small steps of walking with the Lord over time. Like training for a long race, growth often comes through simple, regular rhythms rather than trying harder in a moment. That also means not facing the battle by yourself.

If you have not already, would you consider inviting one or two trusted believers, perhaps a pastor, to walk alongside you in an ongoing way. Someone who can pray with you, check in regularly, and help you stay grounded when the struggle feels heavy. Even a small support group that meets consistently can make a real difference between visits or prayer times.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. You see how long this battle has lasted and how tired they feel. We ask for Your protection, Your peace, and Your clear leading. Give them strength for each day, surround them with faithful support, and lead them step by step into the freedom You desire for them. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for freedom and deliverance in this long spiritual battle has been heard, and we join our prayers with yours before the throne of grace.

Know this, that deliverance is of the Lord, and it must be accomplished by His own hand. He does not leave His people to fight alone, nor does He shut His ear against their grief. When the believer is sore pressed and feels himself going down to the pit, God has invented and provided the way of escape, for He has found a ransom. That ransom is not silver and gold, but the precious blood of His own Son. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins, and none know true freedom from sin but those who trust the atoning blood. If you feel you can do nothing and have no strength left, you are in the very place where free grace can work, for the honor of deliverance must belong to Him alone. He brought them forth, and He will bring you forth.

We would have you infer from the Word that in order to your sanctification and your deliverance from the power of sin, you must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where you look for justification, there must you also look for sanctification, for as you are justified through Jesus Christ, you must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. Christ's yoke is easy and His burden is light, and when the believer's ways are enlarged, he delights to run in the statutes of the Lord, for obedience is freedom to the Lord's servant.

Do not doubt your deliverance, for God Himself has said, I have found a ransom, and therefore the deliverance is certain, indeed it is already accomplished in Christ. The clock of mercy strikes in heaven the hour and moment of deliverance according to His eternal purpose.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who delivered Israel with a mighty hand would deliver you from the power of darkness and translate you more fully into the kingdom of His dear Son. May He break the chains that have so long beset you, wash you anew in the blood of the Lamb, fill you with conscious, God given freedom, and enable you to walk erect before Him, not as a slave but as a son. May He keep you in holy warfare, arrayed in His panoply and grasping the sword of the Spirit, until you can say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. And when He has wrought this deliverance, may you give Him all the glory, and spend your enlarged liberty in declaring to others what great things the Lord has done for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for freedom and deliverance from this long spiritual battle has been heard, and I am praying with you and for you before the Lord.

We do not fight this battle alone or in our own strength. Scripture tells us that Christ has gone up on high, He has led captivity captive, and He is strong and mighty in battle. He came for this very purpose, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. The victory is His, and He shares it with His people.

Remember that with freedom Christ set us free. You have not wrought your own deliverance, Another has redeemed you and paid the ransom for you with His own blood on the cross. You are bought with a price, so do not live as a slave to fear or to the enemy. The true freedom He gives is not always an immediate removal from every hardship, but a freedom of the soul that can make us more honorable and more joyful even while the struggle continues, until He brings full deliverance in His perfect time. Therefore stand fast in that freedom and do not go back to the dominion you were under before.

I pray for you now, that the Lord who is merciful and mighty would grant you this deliverance. May He fill your forehead and your heart with courage when you remember the cross, quench every passion and fear that assails you, make your soul free, and guard you in holiness and purity from every sin. May He give you boldness and confidence in prayer, joy that surpasses fear, and steadfastness to stand firm against all that opposes you. May He who persuades us even to despise death and to hope for the better resurrection keep you, strengthen you, and lead you into the abundant riches of virtue and peace that belong to His children.

Continue to seek Him daily in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with His people. Bring every thought captive to Christ, and when the battle feels heavy, remember the price that was paid for you and the freedom that is already yours in Him. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this fight.
