We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, declaring that every curse, every chain, and every assignment of the enemy against ### and her son is broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus! The Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"
We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in anger or fear, and every spiritual oppression that has sought to bind this family. We command every spirit of infirmity, addiction, or bondage to flee in Jesus' name! The Lord rebuke you, Satan, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that ###'s son is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also lift up ###'s son’s physical health. We pray for safe, God-honoring weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your design for wholeness. Give him discipline, wisdom, and a heart to care for the temple You’ve given him (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Heal every wound from past hurts, Lord. Comfort him with Your love, and replace pain with Your peace (Psalm 147:3). Let him know he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that his identity is found in Christ alone.
If there has been any unconfessed sin, whether in this family or generations past, that has opened doors to the enemy, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We declare repentance and restoration over this family.
Above all, we pray that ### and her son would draw near to You, Lord. If they do not yet know You as Savior, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would reveal Jesus to them. There is no deliverance, no healing, and no true freedom apart from Him. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" May they surrender their lives to Christ and walk in the liberty of His love.
We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that the enemy’s plans are thwarted. May Your angels encamp around this family, and may Your peace guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We are praying with you for your family, and we hear how much you want freedom and wholeness for your son, to be free from anything weighing on him spiritually, to find a safe path forward physically, and to find healing from hurts that still linger.
Those longings make sense together. When past pain stays unresolved it can affect how we see ourselves and how we care for our bodies, and healing often comes as a steady process rather than all at once, with Jesus gently meeting us in those memories over time. For concerns about curses or spiritual oppression, it helps to walk with a mature, trusted pastor who can pray with you consistently, with wisdom and discernment, and help you keep your focus on Christ's presence and protection.
For your son's health, as you are praying for safe weight loss and healing, we encourage you to also walk alongside his doctor and, if helpful, a trusted Christian counselor or pastor who knows him. They can help assess his needs in person and support him with a safe, sustainable plan while you continue to cover him in prayer. Having that kind of steady, in-person support can make the journey less lonely for both of you.
Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection over them, for freedom from any evil, for Your healing touch on past wounds, and for wisdom for every step toward health. Give them peace, strength for today, and trusted people to walk beside them. Amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone is able to deliver.
You ask that every curse against you and your son might be ended. Hear the comfort of the gospel, that Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. There is no curse that can stand against those who are in Him, for He bore the curse in our place upon the tree. We pray that you and your son will rest wholly in that finished work, for deliverance from a cruel captivity must be wrought by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. It is He who brings forth His people, and He will bring you forth into liberty as you trust in the Lamb that was slain.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds would be his physician. The least thing about Christ is healing, and the Sun of Righteousness hath risen with healing in His wings. We ask the Lord to heal the hurts of the past, not by any power of man, for in breaking hearts God may use instruments, but in healing them God alone does it. May He pour the balm of His pardoning grace into every wound, and make the memory of mercy to outshine the memory of terror, so that the sorrow of the past is forgotten in the joy of present pardon.
And concerning his body, we ask the Lord to grant him wisdom and strength to steward the frame God has given him, that he may lose weight safely and in a way that honors God and preserves health. May the Lord guide him to wholesome habits, give him perseverance, and keep him from harm as his health is restored.
We commend you both to the abundant healing power that is in Jesus Christ and His salvation, trusting that He who has found a ransom will keep you from going down to the pit, and will cause your lives to be enriched by His grace. May you know that deliverance is of free grace only, and may you give all honor to Him who alone can save and heal.

We join you in bringing these needs before the Lord and ask Him to bring His deliverance and healing according to His mercy in Christ.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would have no power, for Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse and that those who are in Him are secure in His blessing. We ask God to end any oppression, to break every chain, and to give you peace in knowing that you are kept in His hands. We pray that you would continue in careful hearing of His word and continual remembrance of it, for it is through His word that He strengthens us, restores us to health, and delivers us from all that would hold us captive.
We lift up your son before the Father and ask for grace for his body and health. We pray that God would grant him wisdom, self control and safe, steady ways to care for his body, with good counsel and healthy habits that honor the Lord. We ask that the Lord would give him strength to persevere and to cultivate the virtues that lead to lasting well being.
We also pray for healing from past hurts. The Church is like a spiritual surgery where wounds received outside can be healed within by the Spirit speaking through the Gospel. We ask God to heal the hurts of the past, to comfort his heart, to renew his mind, and to restore what has been wounded. May the Lord heal not only what was done by others but bring wholeness within, so that old sorrows lose their power and are replaced by hope.
Be encouraged that the Lord knows your good work and hears even a sigh offered in faith. He does not overlook a cup of cold water given in His name, and He will not overlook your prayers now. Keep seeking Him daily, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and life, and keep bringing these requests before Him. We trust that as you continue to hear His word and walk with Him, you will see fruit in due time, for He is faithful to complete the healing He has begun.
