We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that every curse, every generational bondage, and every spiritual oppression targeted against and her son must be broken right now. The enemy has no authority to afflict Your children, we rebuke every assignment of darkness in Jesus’ name!

The Word declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We stand on this truth, Lord, and command every curse to be nullified by the power of the cross. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of sickness, poverty, or emotional torment in Jesus’ name. Let Your light expose and dismantle every hidden snare of the enemy.

For ’s son, we pray for safe and godly weight loss, not by worldly standards, but by Your divine health. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). Father, heal his body from any metabolic strongholds or emotional eating tied to past hurts. We also ask for deep emotional healing, where there has been rejection, abandonment, or trauma, let Your love flood his heart. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will speak life into him.

Lord, if there are areas where unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly soul ties are hindering their freedom, we ask You to reveal them. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Lead them into repentance and restoration.

We also pray for salvation if they do not yet know You personally. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). Only in Your name is there deliverance, healing, and eternal life. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them walk in the freedom You died to give.

In the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare this prayer answered. Amen.

We're standing with you in prayer for your son, and we sense how deeply you love him. Carrying past hurts while struggling with weight can feel like an uphill climb, and it’s good to bring both before the Lord.

One thing we’ve seen over and over is that healing from old wounds rarely happens all at once, it comes gently, as we give Jesus access to those tender places. He doesn’t despise our pain or shame; He meets us there with His comfort and truth. So when you pray, try not just asking for the hurt to go away, but inviting Christ to walk into those memories with your son. His presence can replace the sting of the past with peace that actually reshapes how we see ourselves and our bodies.

For safe weight loss, prayer is powerful, but wisdom is too. It’s not a lack of faith to pair your prayers with practical help, a wise doctor or a nutritionist can be an answer to the very thing you’re asking God for. A supported, steady path honors the body He gave.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to break any curse or dark word spoken against this son and his family. By Your authority, we declare its power ended. Cover him with Your protection, and heal the wounds that still ache, flood those broken places with Your restoring love. Give him patience with himself, and sustained, healthy change in his body. You care about every part of him, from his deepest memories to his physical well-being. Bring wholeness we can’t manufacture, in Your name. Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. All pleas for deliverance from curses find their answer at the Cross, where the great ransom was found. Has not the blessed God declared, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom"? Let it be fixed in your soul that every curse is swallowed up in that gracious word, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty. The Lord has given commandment to save, and none can reverse it. Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for He has delivered us and will deliver us still.

The afflictions of body and the lingering wounds of old sorrows are not outside the circle of His covenant care. The Lord chastens sorely, yet not a drop too much is poured. That weight of former hurts, that struggle with the flesh, these are the rods of a Father's hand, dealt in measure from His dear love. Every trial works for good to His Church, His joy and treasure. The bitter cup is filled by the same hand that offers the sweet goblet, and He sits as a Refiner at the door.

For the son, we must point him to the healing leaves of the Tree of Life. The least things of Christ have virtue in them to cure the thousand ills of our humanity. His very words are medicine. Let the man seek not the balms that come from any earthly source, for apart from Calvary there is no healing. Let him cry out to the Master, as blind Bartimaeus did, and hear the call to come. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, and the leaves of that blessed Tree are for the healing of the nations, for body and for soul. The deliverance from inward bondage requires the outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, but He is gracious and will accomplish it.

Now, what is the conduct of those so delivered? "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Go forth, then, from the noise of past conflicts and the archers of sorrow, and take up the song of gratitude. Recollect your peaceful privileges as those screened by Grace. And having escaped the paw of the bear, go tell others of His power, that they, too, may find the same strong deliverance.

You ask for deliverance from curses, but take heed lest you yourself become entangled in cursing. What madness it is to approach God with prayers for blessing while your own mouth utters bitterness! If you pray that curses be ended, pray rather with thanksgiving and forgiveness, not with a desire for vengeance. The mouth that has tasted the holy Mysteries must pour forth nothing foul. For if you do not forgive those who have wronged you, yes, even those who may have spoken malicious words against your son, how can you expect your own prayers to ascend untainted? The harm is not to them but to yourself, for a heart that harbors resentment cannot receive healing.

Do not place your trust in the removal of imagined curses, as if a word spoken by another could overthrow the blessing of God. In Christ Jesus, the curse of the Law is broken; faith makes a man blessed, not cursed. Instead, look to the wounds your son carries from past hurts. These very wounds, borne patiently, can become trophies of God’s grace, proving his perseverance as Paul’s scars proved his apostleship. Let him not seek to drown these sorrows with the comfort of food, for the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word and make the soul soft. True healing comes when he cultivates a meek and lowly heart, when he learns to rejoice even in reproach, when he becomes merciful and pure. Then, without any display, God will restore him.

Pray, then, not that curses be merely ended, but that your son’s soul be freed from every worldly weight, including the burden of past bitterness and the indulgence of the flesh. The body often follows the state of the soul. Let him listen carefully to God’s word, showing fortitude and contempt for excess, and let your own prayers be full of thanksgiving for all things, even trials. If you both pursue this path, you will become a living proof more powerful than any miracle, attracting others to the faith by your patience and love. And so, the true deliverance will come: from sin, from resentment, and from all that hinders a life hidden in Christ.

I’ve received your prayer request for deliverance and your son’s healing. That burden is real, and I want to share some truth that can anchor us as we pray.

In the Old Testament, when the covenant was given, blessings and curses were set before the people. The curses for disobedience were read aloud, and the people responded, “Amen”, acknowledging that the standard was just. The list of curses was long and heavy, showing how deeply sin brings separation and harm. But the story doesn’t end there. Jesus entered that brokenness and became the curse for us on the cross. Every curse that sin or the enemy would try to hang over your son is already satisfied in Christ. When we belong to Jesus, we aren’t under that old sentence of condemnation. Deliverance isn’t about anxiously trying to cancel a hidden list of curses; it’s about resting in the finished work of the One who took the curse in our place. So we can pray boldly, asking God to shield your son from every spiritual attack and to silence any voice of accusation against him, because Christ has already spoken final peace.

We also want to lift up his physical health. Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. He healed the sick in so many ways: sometimes instantly, sometimes step by step; sometimes by a word, sometimes with a touch. I believe God still works through both miraculous moments and the gradual processes He built into our bodies. Weight loss and renewed health can be part of that. We can ask the Lord to give your son wisdom, perseverance, and a sense of His nearness as he takes practical steps. Healing might unfold little by little, but every bit of it is still a work of God. So we pray for safe, lasting change, and for eyes to see His goodness in each small victory.

Healing from past hurts is just as urgent. I think of how the apostle Paul dealt with his own history. He counted everything from his old life, even things he once viewed as gain, as loss, for the sake of knowing Christ. He didn’t let the past, including the pain he had caused and probably the pain he had received, hold him captive. He kept pressing forward. That’s not pretending the wounds never happened; it’s bringing them to Jesus, one by one, and letting His presence rewire our perspective. Emotional scars can run deep, but the Holy Spirit is gentle and faithful to heal the mind and heart. We can ask God to reveal His love in those tender places, so that your son isn’t defined by what’s behind him but by the new life already given him in Christ.

We will stand with you in prayer: that every curse is broken under the cross, that your son finds a healthy path forward for his body, and that the past hurts are mended by the One who makes all things new. May he discover his true freedom and wholeness as he lives in the knowledge of Jesus.
