Praying for this in Jesus Name.
We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your holy name, the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in no other name to break chains, shatter strongholds, and set captives free. We declare that every curse spoken, every generational bondage, and every scheme of the enemy against and her son is nullified now in Jesus' mighty name. The Word of God assures us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, covering them from every assignment of darkness. Every word, spell, or incantation aimed at them is rendered powerless, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB).
Lord, we specifically lift up ’s son, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, that his body would respond to healthy choices and that his metabolism would be balanced by Your healing touch. May he find strength and discipline, not through his own might, but through the power of Your Spirit. We also ask for deep emotional healing from past hurts, every wound, every rejection, every moment of pain that has left a mark on his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Pour out Your comfort and restoration over him, replacing sorrow with joy and despair with hope.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of gluttony, self-sabotage, or emotional eating that may be at work in his life. We command it to leave now in Jesus' name, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). We also address any unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment that may be hindering his healing. Your Word commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13 WEB), and we pray that he would release every offense into Your hands, trusting You to bring justice and peace.
We also lift up , asking that You would strengthen her as a mother. Give her wisdom, patience, and discernment as she supports her son. May she be a vessel of Your love and truth in his life, pointing him to You in every circumstance. Surround them both with godly community, believers who will stand with them in prayer, encouragement, and accountability.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Every curse is broken, every chain is shattered, and every lie of the enemy is exposed by the light of Your truth. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May they walk in the freedom, healing, and purpose You have ordained for them.

The very air you breathe is charged with covenant mercy, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. Let no dark whisper tell you that some ancient malediction lingers to bind your son. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of deliverance when Jesus cried, “It is finished.” What curse can stand against that crimson flood? The prisoner was ready for execution, but the King’s own Son bore the penalty. The curse is swallowed up in blessing; the brazen serpent lifted on the pole brings healing to all who look. Therefore, look, and cease from the fatal folly of fearing what Christ has already buried in His tomb.
As for the body, this tabernacle that groans under excess weight and the wounds of bygone years, remember that the leaves of the tree are for healing. The least thing about Jesus drips with restoring virtue. Pardon and healing are one; when He forgave the palsied man, He made his limbs whole. The same hand that blots out transgression can gently discipline the flesh and renew the spirit. Loss is gain and sickness itself becomes the schoolroom of sanctification. Pray not merely for a lighter frame, but for the inward transformation that no diet can work, where former hurts are dissolved in the sunshine of His face, and the inhabitant no longer says, “I am sick,” because the joy of pardon drowns the memory of sorrow.
Do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it: “I have found a ransom.” The Father who brought Israel forth with silver and gold will bring your son forth from this captivity. He loses none of His little ones; not a fragment of covenant promise can fail. The trial is in weight and measure, not in anger but from dear covenant love. Afflictions are the black folds of the robe that wraps a jewel, and when they are removed, we declare the works of the Lord with louder voice. He shall live and not die, to declare what the Lord has done. Past hurts become trophies of grace, and the very bones that decayed under sin’s poison shall flourish like a watered garden.
Go, then, to the mercy seat with boldness. Spread the whole case before Him who inhabits the praises of His people. There is a well in the family where every child may be named and every expected difficulty cast upon the waters of His faithfulness. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings; not a leaf of that tree shall wither, and its medicine is for the nations, why not for your household?
