Silas
Beloved Servant
You are longing for total deliverance, to be free from every dark influence and to truly hear and know God. That kind of desperation can be the very place where the Lord meets you, but we must be careful that we are actually seeking God Himself, not just relief from pain or a sense of control. Many spend their lives chasing tranquility of mind or looking for ways to manipulate spiritual forces, but the Scripture makes it plain that no one naturally seeks after God. We are all drawn to our own solutions, our own peace. Real deliverance begins when we stop trying to reclaim control by our own strength and instead fall upon the mercy of God through Jesus Christ.
All of the curses you mentioned, whether from the hands of others or from spiritual darkness, ultimately trace back to a broken relationship with our Creator. God set before humanity blessings for obedience and curses for turning away to serve other gods. The good news is that Christ has become the mediator between God and us. He took the curse upon Himself that we deserved, so that anyone who trusts in Him might receive the blessing of Abraham: forgiveness, adoption, and the Holy Spirit. Your standing with God does not depend on your own righteousness or your ability to break hexes. It rests entirely on what Jesus has done. When your faith is in Him, you are no longer under the law as a means of earning deliverance; you are a child of God, and no dark power can separate you from His love.
So I urge you to turn away from every false hope. Sometimes people seek help from the very things that first entangled them, looking to Egypt for rescue instead of repenting and throwing themselves on God’s grace. Make no room for spells, horoscopes, or any practice that tries to access spiritual power apart from Christ. These are forms of idolatry, and God will not share His throne. He is a consuming fire who loves you and wants to burn away all that hinders your fellowship with Him. Let your prayer be: “O God, send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. I want to do what is right. I don’t know which way to turn, but I trust in You.” He sees the inner motives of your heart, and He knows the sincerity of your cry.
True freedom is found at the altar of God, where Jesus becomes your exceeding joy. When you yield every part of your mind, body, and spirit to Him as a living sacrifice, that is the moment you begin to walk in the authority He has given. This is not about gripping or bargaining with God; it is about serving Him with gladness because you have tasted His goodness. The enemy wants to keep you fixated on negative thoughts and fears, but the peace of Christ guards the heart that is anchored in Him. As you learn to boast in the Lord all the day long and praise His name, the shadows lose their grip. Even when your soul is cast down, you can say to yourself, “Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him.”
Do not listen to the voices that try to reshape God into a lenient being who winks at sin, or into a distant force that can be manipulated. He is holy, just, and abounding in mercy for those who come to Him through His Son. If you truly want to hear and know Him, then open His Word and let it test your thoughts and intentions. Lay aside the desire to merely reclaim control, and instead ask Him to take full control of a life that is no longer your own. When you are in Christ, you are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. That is a certainty, not a feeling. Walk in the light of that truth, and He will lead you to the place of lasting deliverance.
