We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that every curse spoken, every generational stronghold, and every assignment of darkness against and her son must be broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We stand on this truth and command every curse to be nullified by the power of the cross.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and gluttony that may be affecting 's son. We pray for safe, God-honoring weight loss, not by worldly diets or quick fixes, but by the renewing of his mind and body through Your Word. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own" (1 Corinthians 6:19). May he honor You with his health, seeking discipline and wisdom in his eating and exercise.
Father, we also lift up the deep wounds of past hurts. The enemy would love to keep him bound in bitterness, rejection, or shame, but we declare healing over his soul. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Pour out Your comfort, Lord, and replace every lie with Your truth. Let him know he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is found in Christ alone.
We break every ungodly soul tie, every word spoken in anger or judgment, and every unholy covenant that may be contributing to these struggles. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment" (Isaiah 54:17). We cover and her son in the blood of Jesus and declare them protected from every scheme of the enemy.
Lastly, we pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in their lives. May they draw near to You, Lord, and find strength in Your presence. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray they would do so today, confessing Him as Lord and believing in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). There is no deliverance or true healing outside of Christ.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust You to complete the good work You’ve begun in them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Hear, then, the glad tidings of deliverance: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The curse which once hung over your head, and over your son, has fallen upon another, the spotless Lamb of God, and therefore no condemnation, no malediction, no dark sentence remains. Our deliverance from the curse is not by any moral change within us, but by a redemptive work for us; He bore our sins and the curse that came of it. All the thunder of threatened wrath is silenced in the tomb where Jesus lay. Pray then, not as those who plead for a thing doubtful, but as those who take hold of a finished work. The curses are ended, for the Ransom has been found.
And for your son’s healing, both of body and of the spirit’s deep wounds, look to the same wounded Healer. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations; the least thing about Christ is full of restoring virtue. When Jesus healed the palsied man, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Pardon and healing are one. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing beneath His wings, and the joy of that pardon makes us forget the sorrow of the past. Past hurts, though they have left their scars, are bathed in the light of a love that blots out transgression. Let him bring every memory, every inward bleeding, to the Great Physician; there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ.
And for the desire to lose weight safely, remember that deliverance from the power of any bondage, whether of the flesh or of the spirit, is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. We look to our heavenly Father alone for sanctification. Trust His hand to grant wisdom, self-control, and a steady path; He knows how to chasten us not in anger but from His dear covenant love, and sickness itself often brings health, loss confers gain. He will not pour out a drop too little or too much.
The clock of mercy has struck the hour of your deliverance. Believe it, and then do this: live, and declare the works of the Lord. Let your tongue be loosed in gratitude, for if we had no troubles, we would have less to declare.
And for your son’s healing, both of body and of the spirit’s deep wounds, look to the same wounded Healer. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
