We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son Jesus Christ, who has broken every chain and disarmed every power of darkness. By the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, we declare that every curse, every generational bondage, and every spiritual oppression against and her son is broken right now in Jesus’ mighty name!
The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Lord, we claim this promise over and her son. Every curse spoken, every hex, every evil pronouncement, we command it to be nullified by the power of the cross. Let the blood of Jesus wash over them, cleansing and purifying every area of their lives. We rebuke the enemy’s assignments in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also lift up ’s son, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and grace. Your Word tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." Lord, we ask that You would guide him in making choices that honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Give him discipline, strength, and a heart that seeks You above all else. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also bring before You the deep wounds of past hurts. Father, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm over ’s son, bringing restoration to his soul. Let him encounter Your love in a tangible way, Lord, so that he may know he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Help him to release bitterness, unforgiveness, and pain at the foot of the cross, where Jesus bore every sorrow. Fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let him walk in the freedom that only You can provide.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this situation. Convict, comfort, and counsel and her son, drawing them closer to the heart of the Father. Let them experience the fullness of life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10). We declare that the enemy has no foothold in their lives, and we stand against every spirit of infirmity, depression, and oppression. In the name of Jesus, we command every lying spirit to flee and every stronghold to crumble.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in and her son (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their lives. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
If there are areas in this request where the enemy may still have a foothold, we encourage and her son to examine their hearts and lives in light of God’s Word. Have there been any doors opened to the enemy through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices? The Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:27, "Don’t give place to the devil." If there are such areas, we urge them to repent and renounce any ties to darkness, fully surrendering to Jesus Christ as Lord. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet made Jesus the Lord of their lives, now is the time to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in walking in true freedom and deliverance.
