We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. There is power in the blood of Jesus to break every chain, to shatter every curse, and to bring restoration to broken lives. We declare that no weapon formed against ### and her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, O God (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we rebuke every curse, generational or otherwise, that has been spoken or enacted against ### and her son. We command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and bondage to loose its grip in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares that Christ became a curse for us, so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Galatians 3:13-14). Therefore, we stand on this promise and declare that every curse is broken now by the power of the cross. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their minds, their bodies, and their spirits. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse them from all unrighteousness and set them free from every snare of the enemy.
Father, we lift up ###'s son to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon him. We pray for safe and godly weight loss, that his body would be strengthened and renewed according to Your perfect will. We ask that You would heal the wounds of his past, both seen and unseen. Comfort him with Your love, Lord, and let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Mend the broken places in his heart and replace every lie of the enemy with the truth of Your Word. Let him walk in the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide.
We also recognize, Lord, that healing comes not only from physical deliverance but from a surrendered heart to You. If ### or her son have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they may know the love, grace, and forgiveness that comes only through faith in Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would surround ### and her son with godly counsel and community. Let them be encouraged by Your people and strengthened by Your Word. Give them the courage to walk in the freedom You have provided and the wisdom to resist the enemy’s attempts to bring them back into bondage. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

So as we pray for healing of those memories, we are asking Jesus to walk into the tender places and restore what was taken.
Lord Jesus, we bring this mother’s son to You now. In Your name we break the power of any curse, any lie, any dark inheritance that has tried to define him. Heal the wounds that still ache, and give him a new vision for his health that is full of hope and not shame. Surround him with wise guides. You speak of curses as though they have a life of their own apart from the atoning work of Christ. Hear this and let it settle deep into your spirit: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Whatever curse you fear, whatever word spoken in malice, whatever dark inheritance you imagine hovering over this child, it is swallowed up in the cross. There is therefore now no curse to those who are in Christ Jesus. The evil one would have you believe that some residual venom lingers, that God has forsaken you or yours in these afflictions. But that is his oldest, sharpest arrow, the insinuation that grace has run dry and the Lord will be gracious no more. Cast it down. It is a lie from the pit.
The true danger is not a curse floating in the air but the weight of sin and the memory of past hurts that press upon the soul. Yet know this: there are wells of salvation from which you may draw even now. The Great Physician comes with healing in His wings, healing for the body and for the deep wounds of the heart that no diet or discipline can reach. He brought forth His people from Egypt laden with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. So shall He bring this dear son forth from his Egypt, not trembling and weak, but enriched by grace, made whole according to the measure of faith. Do not measure the Lord by the scale or by the scars of yesterday. His deliverances are attended with enrichment; He gives more than we lost.
I charge you, then, do not give tongue to your unbelief. Muzzle that hound of hell that would whimper of defeat before the battle is joined. When faith rises within, give it voice. Say with holy boldness, “We shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Let your prayer be not a nervous negotiation with darkness but a shout of confidence in the God who has already delivered us from the power of darkness. The key has turned in that damnable lock; Giant Despair cannot hold you, for Christ has translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son. Stand in that liberty, plead the blood, and expect that the healing leaves of the tree of life are even now unfolding over this situation. He who forgives all iniquities heals all diseases, body and soul together. Pray, then, not as a beggar cowering under a threat, but as a child who has already been brought forth with silver and gold.

You ask for curses to end, but what curse can stand against the blessing of Christ? No word spoken in malice has power over one who is sealed by the Spirit. Fear not these things; rather, turn your ear to the Word and let it be your shield. Continual hearing of the Scriptures exercises the soul, making it strong against every vain terror. If you have heard and yet remain anxious, hear again; the seed that seems to fall on hard ground may later bear fruit all at once. Only do not seek deliverance as if you were at the mercy of men's tongues, but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and every weight will be lifted from you.
As for the weight of the body, take care that your concern is not born of vanity. What gain is there in a slender frame if the soul is swollen with pride or softness? True health flows from a temperate spirit, which does not live for food but eats to live, offering the body as a living sacrifice. If past hurts have left scars, bring them to the Physician who heals without display. He does not merely cover wounds but makes all things new. Forgive as you have been forgiven, and you will find the burden of old injuries growing strangely light. Do not dig into the wrongs done by others, but heal your own heart, and you will see that the real curse is not on your son but on the sin that once held him captive. Look not to the world's opinion but to the Teacher alone; His way is safe and leads to eternal life. Plant your treasure in heaven, and you will reap a harvest that never fades.
