We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and with the mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10). Without this relationship with Christ, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being covered by His blood and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken, inherited, or inflicted over ### and her son. The Word of God declares that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, word curse, or spiritual oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. Every assignment of the enemy designed to bring harm, sickness, or bondage is nullified by the power of the cross. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their minds, their bodies, and their spirits, and we command every evil spirit associated with these curses to flee now in Jesus’ name.
For ###'s son, we pray specifically for safe and godly weight loss. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We ask You, Lord, to give him wisdom in his eating habits, discipline in his lifestyle, and strength in his physical activity. May his body respond to healthy changes, and may his mind be renewed to understand his worth is not tied to his appearance but to his identity in Christ. We also pray for healing from past hurts, rejection, abandonment, bullying, or any emotional wounds that may have contributed to unhealthy patterns. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to bind up his wounds, restore his joy, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also lift up any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their lives that may be hindering their breakthrough. If there is bitterness, resentment, or unrepentant sin, we ask You to bring it to light and grant them the grace to confess, repent, and walk in freedom. If they have opened doors to the enemy through occult practices, false religions, or ungodly soul ties, we ask You to reveal these things and lead them to renounce them in Jesus’ name. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and protected under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). No curse, no sickness, no past hurt has power over them because greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We speak life, health, and wholeness over them. May they walk in the fullness of their salvation, experiencing the abundant life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10).
Lord, we ask You to surround them with godly community, believers who will speak truth, pray with them, and encourage them in their walk with You. May they grow in their relationship with You, deepening their trust and dependence on Your promises. We pray for open doors of opportunity, favor, and blessing in every area of their lives. May they be a testimony of Your goodness and grace to everyone around them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that every curse is broken, every chain is loosed, and every stronghold is demolished in the name of Jesus. We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name. Amen.
