Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or those you are praying for have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken, inherited, or inflicted upon these lives. The Word of God declares that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, and every assignment of the enemy against this family. In the name of Jesus, we command every curse to be broken and rendered powerless. The blood of Jesus has already paid the price for freedom, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

For the son struggling with weight and past hurts, we pray for complete healing, body, soul, and spirit. We ask the Lord to reveal any roots of emotional pain, rejection, or trauma that may be contributing to unhealthy habits. The enemy often seeks to bind us in shame or self-hatred, but we declare that this young man is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We pray for a renewed mind, one that aligns with God’s truth about his identity and worth. May he find comfort in the Lord, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

Father, we ask for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards of vanity, but for the glory of God. Give him discipline and wisdom in his eating habits, and surround him with godly accountability. Let his body be a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and may he honor You with his health. We also pray for healing from past hurts, whether from words spoken over him, betrayal, or loss. Let Your love wash over him like a flood, restoring joy and peace where there has been sorrow.

We rebuke any spirit of gluttony, laziness, or self-pity that may be at work. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this young man is free from every chain, and we speak life, health, and wholeness over him. May he walk in the fullness of God’s purpose, unhindered by the past or the enemy’s schemes.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that as we have prayed according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15). Strengthen this family in faith, and let them see Your hand moving in their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this battle, lifting up this son with tears of faith and the boldness of the Spirit. First, we declare that every curse, spoken, inherited, or generational, has met its match in the blood of Jesus. He didn’t just break the curse; He made it His own so we could walk in freedom. We’re tearing down every stronghold of shame, every lie that whispers he’s unworthy or unlovable, and replacing it with the truth: he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Father, we ask You to expose the roots of his struggles, whether they’re wounds from the past, habits formed in loneliness, or the enemy’s attempts to steal his joy. But we’re not just praying for release; we’re praying for restoration, for his mind to be renewed, his heart to be healed, and his body to reflect the life You’ve already given him.

We’re praying for a supernatural shift in his relationship with food, not by willpower, but by the Holy Spirit’s power. Let him experience the joy of discipline, the freedom of surrender, and the peace of knowing his worth isn’t found in a number on a scale. And for the hurts that still ache deep inside, we’re asking You to wrap Your arms around him like a father to his son. Heal the places where he’s felt abandoned, where he’s carried the weight of others’ failures, or where he’s been told he wasn’t enough. Let Your love flood those places like a river, cleansing, renewing, and making all things new.

We’re also praying for the right people to step into his life, those who will walk with him in this journey, who will speak truth without judgment, and who will remind him that his story isn’t over yet. Lord, we declare that every chain is broken, every stronghold is falling, and every lie is being replaced with Your truth. May he step into the fullness of who You’ve called him to be, unshackled and unafraid. In Jesus’ name, we believe for a miracle, one that goes beyond what he can ask or imagine. Amen.
