We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are redeemed and set free. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without this, no prayer for deliverance or healing can truly take root.
Now, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every curse spoken, generational, or self-inflicted over ### and her son. The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against them in Jesus' name. Every word spoken in anger, bitterness, or witchcraft that has taken root is nullified by the power of the cross. We command every evil spirit attached to these curses to flee now, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
Father, we ask You to release ### and her son from the weight of these curses. Let Your light expose every hidden agreement they may have unknowingly made with the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, freedom, and restoration over their minds, bodies, and spirits.
For ###'s son, we pray specifically for safe and godly weight loss. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Father, give him wisdom in his choices, what he eats, how he moves, and how he cares for himself. We ask for discipline to replace any unhealthy habits, and we rebuke any spirit of gluttony or laziness that may be at work. Let his weight loss be gradual and healthy, guided by Your hand and the counsel of godly professionals.
We also lift up his healing from past hurts. The enemy often uses wounds to keep us bound, but Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Father, we ask You to heal every memory, every rejection, every betrayal, and every pain that has left a mark on his soul. Pour out Your love like a balm over his heart. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that his worth is found in You alone. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for ###, that she would find her strength and identity in Christ. Motherhood can be a heavy burden, especially when you carry the weight of your child’s struggles. Remind her that she is not alone; You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her wisdom, patience, and grace as she supports her son. Let her rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them both.
Finally, we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. No curse, no generational sin, no past hurt has power over them any longer. They are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak blessing, favor, and divine health over them. May they walk in the fullness of the freedom Christ died to give them.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
