We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our prayers are heard only through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for He alone can break every chain and bring true freedom.
Father God, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every curse that has been spoken or enacted against these precious lives. The Bible tells us that Christ became a curse for us, so that we might be redeemed (Galatians 3:13). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every generational curse, every word of death, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name. Let the blood of Jesus wash over them, cleansing and protecting them from every evil influence.
Lord, we pray for this young man’s physical health, asking You to guide him in losing weight safely and wisely. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and help him honor You with his choices. Give him discipline, wisdom, and a heart that seeks Your will in all things. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey.
We also lift up his emotional healing, Father. The wounds of the past can feel overwhelming, but You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Pour out Your comfort and peace upon him. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his worth is found in You alone. Help him release bitterness, forgive those who have hurt him, and walk in the freedom that Christ died to give him.
We declare that this young man is covered by the blood of Jesus, redeemed, and set free. No curse, no past hurt, and no weight of the world can stand against the power of God. We speak life, health, and wholeness over him in Jesus’ name. May he grow in faith, draw near to You, and experience the fullness of Your love and purpose for his life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
