Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are redeemed and set free. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Now, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that every curse, generational bondage, or spiritual oppression against these precious lives is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We rebuke every assignment of the enemy designed to bring harm, sickness, or bondage. Every chain is broken, every curse is nullified, and every stronghold is torn down by the power of the cross. We command every spirit of infirmity, addiction, or oppression to flee now in Jesus' name.

For the son mentioned in this request, we pray for complete healing—body, soul, and spirit. We ask the Lord to guide him in safe and healthy weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by godly wisdom and discipline. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." We pray for a renewed mind, that he would seek the Lord’s guidance in his health, and that his body would respond to godly habits. May he find strength in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We also lift up the deep wounds of the past. The enemy often uses past hurts to keep us in bondage, but Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray that every memory of pain, rejection, or trauma would be brought into the light of Christ’s healing love. Psalm 147:3 declares, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask the Holy Spirit to minister comfort, restoration, and a fresh infilling of God’s peace. May this young man walk in the freedom that Christ died to give him, no longer defined by his past but by the identity he has in Christ.

Father God, we ask that You surround this family with Your angels, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for godly mentors and believers to come alongside them, encouraging them in their walk with You. May they experience the fullness of life that Jesus promised in John 10:10, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."

We also want to gently address any areas where sin may have opened doors to the enemy. If there has been involvement in the occult, unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, we urge repentance and turning away from those things. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Confession and repentance bring cleansing and restoration (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in these lives. May they walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you seek deliverance and healing for your son. We've been praying in Jesus' name, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up.

We're claiming Psalm 91:10 over him, "No harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent." We're asking the Lord to guide him in his weight loss journey, not just for physical healing, but also for a renewed mind and spirit. We're believing for a safe and healthy process, with the Lord's wisdom guiding every step.

We're also praying for the deep wounds of the past to be healed. We're asking the Lord to bring every memory of pain into His light, and to fill those places with His healing love and peace. We're claiming Isaiah 61:1 over him, "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."

Let's continue to stand in faith, believing for complete healing and freedom for your son. We're here, praying with you, in Jesus' name.
