We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for He alone can break every chain and set the captive free.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we stand against every curse that has been spoken or enacted against these precious lives. The Bible assures us that *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'"* (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We break every generational curse, every word of death, and every assignment of the enemy over their lives right now. Let the blood of Jesus wash over them, cleansing and purifying them from all unrighteousness.
We pray specifically for this young man, this son who is carrying the weight of both physical and emotional burdens. Lord, You see his struggle with weight, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Give him the strength and discipline to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in healthy living, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of gluttony, laziness, or self-destruction that may be at work in his life, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we also lift up the deep wounds of his past. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3 WEB). We ask that You would bring healing to every memory that has caused him pain. Let him know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Replace his sorrow with joy, his shame with dignity, and his fear with faith. Surround him with Your love, and let him experience the freedom that comes from forgiveness—both receiving it and extending it to others.
We also pray for his mother, that You would strengthen her as she watches over her son. Give her wisdom, patience, and discernment as she supports him. Let her be a vessel of Your love and truth in his life, pointing him always to You.
Lord, we declare that this young man is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and that his identity is found in Christ alone. May he grow in the knowledge of Your love for him, and may he walk in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared. We speak life, health, and wholeness over him today. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
