We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* (John 16:23-24 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His blood that we are redeemed and set free from every curse.
We stand in agreement for the breaking of all curses—whether generational, spoken, or self-inflicted—over these precious lives. The Word of God declares, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"* (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against them in the mighty name of Jesus. Every chain is broken, every yoke is destroyed, and every curse is nullified by the power of His resurrection. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their lives.
For the son mentioned here, we pray for safe and godly weight loss, not by the world’s standards of vanity, but for the glory of God and the stewardship of the body He has entrusted. The Apostle Paul reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). We ask the Lord to grant discipline, wisdom, and self-control, as the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), so that his health may be restored in a way that honors God. We also pray for healing from past hurts—every wound, rejection, and trauma that has left scars on his soul. Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1), and we declare that healing over him now. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We break every curse, spoken or unspoken, that has been released over these lives. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and declare that Your perfect will be done in their lives. For the son, we ask for supernatural weight loss that aligns with Your design for his body, not the world’s standards. Give him strength, discipline, and joy in the journey. Heal every wound, mend every broken place, and restore what has been stolen. Let him walk in the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through the cross. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
