We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross for our sins, that we have access to the Father and the power to break every chain. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this, no deliverance or healing can be fully realized in the way God intends.
Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken or brought against this family. The Word of God declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, every word spoken in anger or bitterness, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word—life, freedom, and victory.
We pray specifically for this young man, that the Lord would bring safe and healthy weight loss according to His will. May his body be strengthened, his metabolism balanced, and his mind renewed to honor God with his choices. We ask for wisdom and discipline, that he would glorify God in his body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Father, we also ask for deep emotional healing from past hurts. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Let Your love and peace flood his soul, replacing every lie of the enemy with Your truth.
Lord, we also lift up any areas where unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin may be hindering this family’s breakthrough. If there has been involvement in occult practices, idolatry, or unrepentant sin, we ask for conviction and repentance. The Bible warns that rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23), and we must walk in obedience to Your Word. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we plead that blood over every area of their lives—spirit, soul, and body.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that breaks every chain. May the Lord surround this family with His angels, protect them from every evil assignment, and fill them with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust You, Lord, to complete the good work You have begun in them. Amen.
