Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Without this relationship with Christ, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being covered by His blood.

Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken or enacted against this family. The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, word curse, or spiritual oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. Every assignment of the enemy against this mother and her son is dismantled now by the power of the cross. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

For the son’s physical health, we pray for safe and godly weight loss, not by the world’s standards of vanity, but for the glory of God. We ask the Lord to renew his strength and health, for "beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). May his body be a temple of the Holy Spirit, and may he honor God with his physical well-being (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We also pray for healing from past hurts—emotional wounds, rejection, or trauma that may have contributed to unhealthy patterns. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for the balm of Gilead to soothe every pain and for the peace of Christ to guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would surround this young man with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will encourage him in his faith and health. May he grow in discipline, self-control, and wisdom, for "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10). We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is found in Christ alone. Break every lie of the enemy that tells him he is unworthy, unloved, or beyond healing. Let him walk in the freedom and victory that Christ died to give him.

We also lift up his mother, asking for wisdom, strength, and peace as she raises her son. May she be a woman of prayer, covering him in intercession and leading by godly example. We pray that their home would be a place of love, truth, and holiness, where the Word of God is honored and obeyed.

In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of infirmity, addiction, or oppression to flee. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. May they walk in the fullness of God’s promises, healed, restored, and free. Amen.
